Some of Our Favorite Noodles Are BACK in Disneyland

Do you know what’s more exciting than Disney food? NEW Disney food or returning Disney favorites!

Millennium Falcon in Disneyland

We’ve been making our way around Disneyland, checking out a ton of food, including a Mac & Cheese Hotdog, Coke’s Dreamworld, and a quick breakfast that’ll become your new favorite. But we’re now heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to try one new and one returning Star Wars-inspired item at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

The first thing we’re trying is a new coffee drink (bring on the CAF!), the Cold Brew with Taro Topper, which is a Nitro Cold Brew topped with a Sweet Taro Cream for $6.29. You might want to know how it compares to that yummy Cold Brew Black Caf we love so much.

We’re always up for cold brew

Our reporter who tried this is not a big fan of Taro, so that’s something to keep in mind. To them, the Taro taste was pretty strong after that first sip, which basically just consisted of the Taro cream on top. But after mixing it all up a little more, we got more of the drink’s true flavor. Essentially, it tasted like a sweet cold brew with a creamy texture.

In other words, the moral of the story here is to MIX IT UP! After mixing it up, our reporter actually ended up really liking this drink! If you love taro and coffee, don’t miss this one. And even if taro makes you a little concerned, you may still want to try it, but be sure to mix it all up!

Strong Taro flavor

But wait…there’s MORE! There’s a returning item to eat here, too! We first had the Gungan Broth Noodles back during Life Day when they were just called Pork Broth Noodles and we LOVED THEM! Seriously, that “fake” Disney holiday brought some amazingly delicious food to the park.

They’re made with Roasted Pork, Angel Hair Pasta, Bok Choy, Mushrooms, Yuzu-Tomato Compote, and a Pesto-Tonkatsu Broth for $15.49.

It’s a lot like ramen

Our favorite part of this dish was the tender and juicy pork — it had so much flavor with just a hint of sweetness to it. The broth had a sort of tomato flavor to it, with just a hint of spice (nothing to worry about though, so don’t let that deter you). We also loved the refreshing crunch of the bok choy.

This meat was DELICIOUS

With that being said, though, we kind of wish the broth had a bit more flavor or even spice. It does say it’s GUNGAN broth, so maybe those Gungans just don’t really like a lot of spices in their food — we’ll have to ask Jar Jar Binks about that the next time we see him! 😂

Available now!

Both items are now available at Docking Bay 7, so be sure to swing by there when you find yourself on your next adventure in Batuu! As always, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on ALL new food in Disneyland and Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more reviews!
