Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is BACK!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is BACK!

This week we take a trip out to Magic Kingdom for the first night of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Join us for a fun night of treats, entertainment, and hanging out!

THE TREATS!

Making our way into the park, our first stop was to our first trick or treating location! Here we grabbed our back, and our first candy for the night. This is one of the many Trick or Treating locations you can visit throughout the park to receive your complimentary candy! After our candy stop, we decided to make our way towards Frontierland to try some exclusive treats.

From Pecos Bill, we ordered the Almond Sweet Corn Cake (top). This is a yellow Almond-Vanilla Cake drizzled with Icing and topped with Candy Corn! We thought this dessert was absolutely delicious. The cake was very moist and flavorful, and the drizzle on top was excellent. We really appreciated the theming of this dessert as well, it truly looked like a real corn on the cob!

Secondly from Golden Oak Outpost, we got the Spellbinding Fried Pie (bottom). It’s on the more savory side with Buffalo Chicken, Bleu Cheese, and Mozzarella wrapped in a fried puff pastry, topped with a Candy Eye and a Jalapeno-Ranch Aioli. This was so tasty. There was so much flavor with just a bit of spice. The Jalapeno Aioli was truly delicious, and provided such a nice flavor on top.

Both of these treats were so good, we were nearly fighting over them both!

THE ENTERTAINMENT

Although it did rain throughout most of the night, we were still able to check out almost all of the entertainment offerings!

We started our night in Frontierland seeing the Cadaver Dans! This Dapper-Dans style “Band” hangs out in Frontierland singing spooky tunes, and making people howl with their “dead-pan” humor! A great show to stumble upon!

Secondly we watched the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks Show! This show is hosted by Jack Skellington, and features all of your favorite Disney Villains! With a ghoulish display of Fireworks, Projections, and Lasers, this is a show you’re definitely not going to want to miss!

Finishing out the night, we were able to catch Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade! This parade happens twice a night, boasting many iconic characters, ghastly ghouls, and impressive floats representing each of the lands around Magic Kingdom! This parade is a must-see if you’re coming to the Halloween Party!

Although we might’ve covered a lot here, this is just a small glimpse of our night! Be sure to check out our video above to see our full experience. Thanks for joining us for a wonderfully spooky time, we’ll see you next week!
