What’s New at Disney World Hotels: A Restaurant Is Being Demolished

With all of the excitement going on in the Disney World parks, it can be easy to forget about the hotels!

BoardWalk Inn Lobby

What with the start of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, the announcement of a release date for MagicBand+ and more, there’s a lot going on! We’re going to head to some Disney World hotels to see what’s new, so we can bring you all of the updates.

Yacht & Beach Club Food Updates

Beach Club Marketplace

At Beach Club Marketplace, we spotted a cupcake that got an upgrade! This spot usually has a vanilla Mickey Cupcake, but in celebration of summer, this cupcake has been decorated to look like a pineapple.

It has a new look for summer!

Nothing about the flavor of the cupcake has changed, it just has yellow and green frosting now that’s made to look like a pineapple! You can grab this cupcake for $6.29.

Yacht & Beach Club General Updates

When we were visiting the Beach Club, we also noticed that they were offering a class called Painting in the Vineyard!

Painting in the Vineyard

The painting class is held every Friday from 4PM-6PM at Martha’s Vineyard and is $35 plus tax if you want to join. The sign does mention that space is limited, so you might want to consider getting there early if you’re interested in taking part in this activity!

Yacht & Beach Club Construction Updates

There’s a lot of construction happening at Yacht & Beach Club right now. Construction is being done on the lighthouse at the end of the boardwalk…

50th Anniversary Cupcake

This cupcake is $6.29 and is a vanilla cupcake with birthday cake mousse, white chocolate whipped cream, and birthday sprinkles. Plus, it comes with a cute chocolate Mickey head! Also, don’t forget that a new deli will be heading to this location this summer!

Further down the BoardWalk, there is construction happening on the former ESPN Club restaurant.

Pop Century Food Updates

Everything Pop Shopping & Dining

Everything Pop Shopping & Dining has a new cupcake on the menu!

Pop Goes Bananas

This treat is yellow cupcake filled with caramelized banana, pastry crème, caramel-latte buttercream, and a chocolate smiley face medallion. We really liked this cupcake when we tried it but beware: it is not for the faint of heart. The banana flavor is strong, so if you’re not a banana fan, maybe steer clear. You can grab this cupcake for $5.49.
