The Character Meet-and-Greet Chaos You Need to Be Prepared for in Magic Kingdom

If you’re searching for complicated meet-and-greets, look no further than Magic Kingdom!

Cinderella Castle

Interested in meeting Peter Pan? You may need to lace up your running shoes in order to catch him or look for him in unexpected places. And he’s not the only unpredictable meet-and-greet there. During one trip to the park, we noticed that a character disappeared from one spot and reappeared in an entirely different place. (Talk about MAGIC.) No, seriously…take a look for yourself.

While we walked around Magic Kingdom, we saw that there was a “visiting princess” at Princess Fairytale Hall. This is something that happens from time to time. Sometimes, the princesses that appear in the “visiting princess” spot are not total surprises (like Rapunzel). But other times, the “visiting princess” can be a much more unique or rare character!

Visiting Princess?

Of course, curiosity got the better of us, so we went in to see who today’s visiting princess was. Alongside Tiana, we found...Jasmine!

Jasmine Talking to Us!

This actually isn’t the first time we’ve seen her “visit” Fairytale Hall. But we were kind of surprised she was “visiting” the Fairytale Hall today, considering her own meet-and-greet with Aladdin in Adventureland has returned to the park.

Wondering what happens to that meet and greet when Jasmine spends time over with the other princesses? Well, it turns out he meets guests by himself when she visits Fairytale Hall. (All alone! Poor guy.)

Again, seeing a “visiting princess” sign outside Princess Fairytale Hall isn’t all that uncommon so be sure to keep this in mind during upcoming visits. The more “standard” recurring characters you can (generally) expect to find here are Cinderella and Tiana, but who joins them is sometimes a mystery!

Uh Oh — Who Is It This Time?!

The usual suspects are typically Rapunzel and Elena of Avalor.

Who Will You Meet?

But in the past, we’ve seen Jasmine, Snow White, and Ariel pop up here!

If you walk past this sign during your park visit, be sure to check what the sign indicates. If it says there’s a “visiting princess” there, bear in mind that it could be one of a variety of characters. If you’ve got little ones who absolutely MUST meet one character or another, make sure to factor this into your plans and cushion expectations in case the character of their dreams is “missing.”
