Bonjour from Disneyland Paris Resort — where the 30th Anniversary celebrations are in full swing!

Guests can experience special shows, exclusive merchandise, and more at this lengthy event. Not only that, but Avengers Campus — Disneyland Paris is opening SOON on July 20th, 2022! Avengers Campus won’t be the first Marvel-themed experience in Disneyland Paris Resort, though, as Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel opened in June 2021. This hotel boasts sleek, New York vibes and all the Marvel you could probably ever want — so come with us to check out Skyline Bar at Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel!

Welcome to Skyline Bar at Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel. This swanky hotel bar is themed after a bar you’d find in a New York City hotel, and it does a great job of emulating that vibe! But, unlike your typical hotel bar, this one sits high in the sky — so high up in fact, that you just might catch a few superheroes flying by! Let’s check it out.

Atmosphere

As you enter the bar, you’ll notice sleek decor and an upscale vibe everywhere you look.

Like we mentioned before, this bar is meant to feel like you’re overlooking the New York City skyline (hence the name) and there are large “windows” (video screens) that show it off quite well. You can even see some of your favorite Avengers fly by!

In addition to the large bar, there are also several different seating areas with tables and chairs.

Now, let’s find out what this menu has in store for us!

Menu

There are a few savory items on the menu, like crab cakes and chicken wings — and an assortment of different desserts as well.

This is a bar, after all, and there were some delicious-sounding Signature Drinks on the menu. Not only that, but there was a decent amount of fun, non-alcoholic drinks as well!

We had to give a couple of these items a try — you know, for science.

Eats

First up, we tried the Green Smash. This is made with Dark Rum, Blue Curaçao, Mango Purée, Pineapple Juice, Lemon Juice, and Fresh Mint.

This drink was SUPER minty. It could have just been the one we got, but the mint was so strong you could hardly taste any of the other flavors. The mango and pineapple did add a bit of sweetness, and the lemon gave it a tart flavor. When it came down to it, though, the Green Smash tasted mainly like mint and rum with subtle hints of the other flavors.

We also tried the Orange Fusion Reactor, one of the non-alcoholic offerings on the menu. It’s made with Orange Juice, Passionfruit and Mango Nectars, and Strawberry Coulis. It was extremely sweet and very fruity — so if you’re not a fan of those in drinks, this probably isn’t the mocktail for you. There was some tartness thanks to the orange juice which cut down on the sweetness. We did enjoy this, and it tasted like a tropical vacation!

Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying one of the desserts! We ordered the Chou Doctor Strange (the Doctor Strange Pastry), a Crispy Puff Pastry with Vanilla Whipped Cream, Red Berry Compote, Merengue, and Coconut. This dessert was simple and extremely tasty. The pastry was soft and the berries were fresh. The whipped cream was the perfect addition.

Our only complaint is that there wasn’t more of it!

Overall

If you’re looking for some swanky vibes on your Disneyland Paris visit, the Skyline Bar might just be the perfect place to be! Plus, where else can you enjoy the New York City skyline while watching some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes pass by? Grab a quick bite, have a drink, and sit back and relax while you decompress from your Disneyland Paris day.
