Hey there, hi there, ho there! We headed down to the Disneyland Resort to enjoy a leisurely day at the park and see what’s new. So join us for this most recent photo report from both parks.

Disneyland

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is just less than a week away from reopening and as the ride is testing, more and more effects are coming online. Today, we noticed that the bubble jets were on full blast.

We found a new collection of nuiMOs outfits that mash-up characters from different films and cartoons into stylish looks for your plush.

The Main Street Electrical Parade is set to depart on September 1, but the merchandise is still rolling in. This new split-style shirt features the cool art from the collection in a big way. Alongside the shirt, we also found a new hoodie that glows in the dark.

At the Emporium, the Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary sPARKling Collection has arrived with a Disneyland Resort version of the Disneyland Paris Spirit Jersey and matching, sparkly ears.

It’s new pin day, and we saw some super cool new releases hit the stores today. Notably, the classic Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange designs released as FigPins, and a whole line of Haunted Mansion rack pins graced shelves today. Follow the link to see everything we found.

In Disney Showcase, a new selection of Princess-inspired accessories are here, and we hope they don’t turn back into a pumpkin at midnight.

We are always checking in on attractions to watch for changes, but we are keeping a particularly close eye on Splash Mountain as we inch toward the attraction’s eventual closure to begin the switch over to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in late 2024.

Get ready for the fast-approaching Halloween season with these Haunted Mansion sweatpants, perfect for lounging around in your crypt all day.

At Black Spire Outpost, we ran into R2-D2 as he was working on the Millennium Falcon and greeting guests.

In Frontierland, walls have surrounded the former Fastpass distribution area at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We will keep checking in on this project as it develops to see what will come of it.
Disney California Adventure

In Avengers Campus, Thor and The Mighty Thor were taking a few moments to coach a young guest on how to be worthy of lifting Mjolnir.

Once the kids proved their might, The Mighty Thor posed for a few pictures with them and asked Thor to hold her hammer. Thor was understandably excited to be reunited with his old friend, Mjolnir.

One final parting shot from the park as we get ready to seek cooler climes. On such a warm day, you’re likely to find us hanging out near water features like this one on Grizzly Peak that provide a cooling spray and plenty of shade. And it makes for a nice, relaxing place to snap a few photos.
Well, that’s it from us here at Disneyland. We’re glad you rode along. Be sure to leave a comment below, letting us know what you think of the photo report. We’ll see ya real soon!
