The 2022 D23 Expo is gearing up to be THE Disney fan event of this year, with lots of fun activities, exclusive merchandise, and potentially HUGE announcements about Disney’s current and upcoming projects.

We’ve already learned about 6 major panels happening at this year’s Expo, including several presentations, an awards ceremony, and even a Disney Princess concert! Let’s take a look now at which of the events slated for the Expo could yield some of the BIGGEST Disney news.

Today, we got the schedule for all of the panels happening in “Hall D23,” which is a massive 6,900-seat auditorium located in Hall D of the Anaheim Convention Center. This is where guests will see some of the biggest presentations and possibly hear the most exciting Disney news!

The D23 Expo is often where we get big updates about what’s going on with Disney movies and shows as well as the parks! If you’re looking to hear those updates ASAP, here are the presentations you should look out for during this event:

Friday, September 9th, at 3:30PM — At this presentation, The Walt Disney Studios will be giving guests “new details, first looks, sneak peeks, surprises, and announcements” about Disney’s upcoming shows and movies. You might hear about upcoming projects from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, and Disney Live Action. This panel will be hosted by “studio heads, filmmakers, and cast members,” who will bring the audience “the inside scoop on some of these studios’ most exciting titles.”

Saturday, September 10th, at 10AM — There has been no shortage of new Star Wars and Marvel content on Disney+ recently. With big titles like Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and The Mandalorian, it’s safe to say that the Marvel and Lucasfilm studios have been very busy. At this presentation, representatives from the studios (together with filmmakers, celebrities, and surprise guests) will share details about upcoming Marvel and Star Wars shows.

Sunday, September 11th, at 10:30AM — This is a cant-miss presentation for Disney parks fans! Josh D’Amaro (the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman) is going to share the inside scoop about current and upcoming projects in the Disney parks. Some Disney Cruise Line announcements are also expected during this panel! And D23 said, “Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at the big dreams of Disney Imagineers,” which could mean we’ll learn about some projects that haven’t even been announced yet.

If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, D23 has announced that “a limited number of single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday of D23 Expo 2022 are available.” One-day adult admission costs $99 for adults and $79 for kids ages 3 to 12. D23 Gold Members can purchase single-day adult tickets for $89. Note that single-day Saturday tickets and 3-day passes are sold out.

You may want to hurry and grab your tickets soon! This event is super popular with Disney fans, especially since we’re anticipating several big announcements this year.
