Celebrate the release of Pixar’s “Lightyear” with a new Zurg Freeze slush from Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies at Magic Kingdom.

Auntie Gravity’s is in Tomorrowland, attached to the closed Merchant of Venus store.

Zurg Freeze – $6.49

Black currant slush with DOLE Whip strawberry and boba pearls

This is a layered drink with the black currant slush on the bottom, followed by the strawberry DOLE whip and boba on top.

It is served with a straw but you will likely need a spoon too.

The boba pearls are especially too big to go up the straw.

The Cast Member wasn’t sure what flavor the boba pearls were, but they had a distinctly fruity, sweet flavor — maybe pineapple.

The black currant is sweet and reminiscent of cotton candy.

The strawberry DOLE is just your basic strawberry-flavored whip.

As the DOLE Whip and slush melted together, the cotton candy taste overpowered the strawberry. The DOLE was creamier, while the slush was icier, but the textures mixed well.

This isn’t too sugary or heavy, so is a good option on a hot day. It might also be fun for kids.
