Rocket Sundae – $6.99

Cherry and Lemon Sorbet topped with Blue Raspberry Marshmallow Creme and Sprinkles

This sundae is red, white, and blue. It’s a sweet, light, flavorful treat that’s a nice departure from ice cream. The lemon sorbet is super soft and velvety, with a subtle lemon flavor and a punch of sweetness.

The cherry sorbet is delicious and dark, with a flavor of real cherry fruit rather than the artificial cherry flavoring that we expected. The blue raspberry marshmallow topping brings a touch of creaminess to the dish — so much so that you don’t miss ice cream at all.

In the heat of a Southern California summer day, it’s nice to have a cold sundae without the overall heaviness of ice cream. As simple as this is, it is a surprisingly satisfying sundae and perfect for the summer season.
