REVIEW: A Unique Ice Cream Cone is BACK in Magic Kingdom!

Disney released many snacks all over the parks to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.

However, the celebration lasts 18 months, and we’ve already seen some of the 50th Anniversary treats that were originally announced disappear and be replaced with new ones. Back in March, we saw the Seven Dwarfs Specialty Cones disappear from Storybook Treats, and then return with a new flavor! But recently, we were so excited to find that the OG Seven Dwarfs cone is BACK!

So far, we’ve only seen 3 out of 7 of these Seven Dwarfs treats; the Caramel and Chocolate Espresso Doc Cone, the Cranberry and Vanilla Grumpy Cone, and the Chocolate Barqs Root Beer and Vanilla Sneezy Cone. This weekend, we found that the Grumpy cone is back in stock!

It’s back!

It’s such a refreshing snack, too! The tart cranberry with the vanilla soft serve works SO well together.

It’s back!

Can you say refreshing? Especially on a hot day like today! The cone is fresh and crunchy and the white chocolate is the same as the previous cones we’ve had. Here’s a pro tip, though: this one seemed to melt faster than the others, so EAT IT FAST. A Cast Member even warned us that the ice cream was more liquid-y (could be due to the heat advisory in Disney World right now) and we were also given a bowl.

Look how pretty it is!

Previously the treats were gone because the cones were sold out and they had to wait to get more in stock. As much as we love the Grumpy cone, we’re hoping to see some of the other Seven Dwarfs Cones soon!

Look at all of them!

Regardless, we’re just so happy that this treat is back for us to enjoy.

Looking for other cold treats to tame the hot Florida weather? There’s Kakigori over in EPCOT, as well as the several different kinds of Dole Whip available all over Disney World. You can also sit down and enjoy some ice cream in places like Plaza Restaurant (or the ice cream parlor next door) and Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

Looking for more ways to celebrate the 50th Anniversary? Disney is still dropping new collectibles for the occasion that you should check out, and we recently just found a way you can make a DIY 50th Anniversary treat for only $6!

Stay tuned to DFB, and we’ll let you know as soon as we find more 50th Anniversary treats and surprises!
