If there’s one thing we love over here at DFB, it’s FOOD! We are Disney Food Blog, after all.

We’ve tried it all — from banana-flavored beignets and Mickey pretzels to a pickle corn dog abomination, so we especially love when we’re able to try classic Disney snacks that don’t make us question our sanity! We recently tried an exciting ice cream treat over in Disneyland that truly makes us want to celebrate — let’s check it out!

Guests who are looking to celebrate their birthday (or UNbirthday!) in Disneyland Park now have a new option that’s both a treat AND a birthday present! The Celebration Sundae can be found over at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor.

This substantial sundae is made with vanilla cake, hot fudge, choice of ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles, and a chocolate candle served in a Mickey Ear Hat Bowl!

You can get it served in either a Birthday Mickey Ear Hat Bowl or an Unbirthday Mickey Ear Hat Bowl — but we opted for the Unbirthday Bowl!

This was a classically delicious sundae, and we mean that in the absolute BEST way. The addition of the vanilla cake was a bonus, and the warm chocolate fudge melted into the huge scoop of ice cream to make the perfect mix.

The Celebration Sundae in the Unbirthday Mickey Ear Hat Bowl is a decadent dessert that’s perfect for ice cream lovers and those who are looking for a classic treat. At $15.49, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but you do get that Ear Hat Bowl as a souvenir too!
