We’ve seen some snacks that are truly unique not only in their presentation but also in their taste. We’ve also seen some fun snacks based on Disney+ shows in the past. But now we’ve got a new snack that’s taking us directly into the multiverse!
The next big Marvel movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has its official release day on May 6th, but is available for many fans to go watch in the theaters now. Disney is celebrating this big release with…cheesecake?
Yes, we found the Cherry Cheesecake of Madness (serious props to Disney for that name) at Disney’s All-Star Resorts and HAD to try it out. Just look at it! It’s got Doctor Strange right there on top of it!

These cheesecake has a LOT going on. It’s a Cherry cheesecake on a layer of chocolate cake covered in a Cherry & chocolate glace with wafer shard pieces and it’s filled with a Cherry compote. It’s cherry madness — get it?
The cake itself did NOT disappoint — it was moist and tasty! The cheesecake was a good blend of cream cheese and cherry flavors.
The multiverse…in a cherry cheesecake
We also loved how the middle of the dessert was cold, which was PERFECT for a hot day. But the standout for us was the cherry compote! It had WHOLE cherries in it that were tart. That balanced the sweetness of the chocolate and cheesecake perfectly.
Those shards are a little stale
HOWEVER, we did find the wafer pieces around the outside to be VERY stale and hard. We liked the effect they had in terms of design, but wish they had been more fresh. We’ll also say that the cherry flavor in the cheesecake was a bit more artificial compared to the cherry compote, so that didn’t quite blend well.
This dessert, though, is a must for those who love cherry and chocolate flavors (especially fans of cherry cheesecake), as well as Doctor Strange fans. If you like cheesecake and fruit but like your fruit toppings to be on TOP of the cheesecake, beware — the cherry is mixed INTO the cheesecake in terms of flavor, so you might not love that.
