New UOAP Magnet, If I Ran the Zoo Play Area Closed, Construction Wall Moved at Revenge of the Mummy, and More: Universal Orlando Resort Photo Report 5/3/22

Welcome to another exciting day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We’re in for a busy morning, so let’s get going and check out what’s happening at Universal Studios Florida first.

We’re excited to see the construction walls pushed back at Revenge of the Mummy. The latest rumor for reopening is sometime around July 4, based on internal hiring for the attraction. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Monsters Tribute Store is still open, but you’ll have to enter through the arcade now.

The setup of the store has moved around a bit, and the old register for Sahara Traders is in use again. You can still find the Zoltar fortune teller and Mold-A-Rama machine in here alone with some great Monsters merchandise.

Have you seen the latest Annual Passholder perks? We picked up the latest UOAP magnet today, and we’re in love.

TODAY Cafe has a new Watermelon, Feta, and Basil flatbread. We’re curious about this item and plan to try it soon.

A new “Love is Universal” license plate is available in the MIB Gear shop. You can pick this up for $16, and 10% off the proceeds will go towards the National Pulse Memorial and Museum.

Islands of Adventure has a new Passholder exclusive entrance to the park. This is a great way to beat the crowds into the park early in the morning.

Islands of Adventure Trading Company has Grad Bash merchandise, including this Class of ’22 hoodie. This black hooded sweatshirt is $48.

If I Ran the Zoo playground is now surrounded by construction walls.

Only a 70 minute wait for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. That’s a huge difference from the busy Spring Break crowds.

Short lines for food around the park, finally. The park doesn’t feel too busy today.

Burger Digs has gotten a Jurassic World: Dominion wrap on their wall.

Jurassic World: Dominion has taken over!

Everyone is eager to meet Blue today. Guests tend to line up early for Raptor Encounter.

VelociCoaster was having an extended delay this morning, but Team Members were very friendly and happy to help guests. Thankfully, the attraction would open later in the afternoon.

That’s all for this visit to Universal Orlando. Thanks for following us around the parks today. We’re going to grab a Butterbeer and get out of here, but stay tuned for more updates.
