We LOVE being able to review snacks throughout the Disney parks and share our reviews with our readers!

Over at Disneyland Resort, the dining and snack possibilities seem nearly endless! There are so many great dining locations to choose from, and one of our favorite spots has a NEW item we’re reviewing — so let’s check it out!

Royal Street Veranda in New Orleans Square offers hearty bread bowls out of a convenient walk-up window. But today, we’re talking about the FRITTERS.

More specifically, the Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño Fritters. We’re gonna go ahead and say that again: Bacon + Cheddar + Jalapeño = Love. We have seen similar fritters. But those had green onions instead of jalapeños. So we had to give these a try!

For $5.99, you get three decent-sized fritters served with a cheese sauce!  

These were nice and crunchy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside! We could definitely taste the bacon and jalapeño, but neither flavor was particularly strong.

The fritters were definitely better when dipped in the cheese sauce, as most things are. These certainly weren’t too spicy when we had them, but if you’re sensitive to spice you might want to skip this snack! 

If you love all things bacon, we definitely recommend trying this snack, although if you’re looking for a bacon overload — this is NOT that.

Overall, this made a delicious snack, but wasn’t overly filling! We would love for this to make its way to Disney World as well. I mean it’s bacon and cheese?! You know those are like two of our favorite things!!
