REVIEW: New 50th Anniversary Main Street Churro is a Sweet and Salty Treat at Magic Kingdom

A new Main Street Churro has arrived at Magic Kingdom as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”

This new churro is available at the snack cart in the hub in front of Cinderella Castle.

Main Street Churro – $7.25

Churro rolled in cinnamon sugar, dipped in chocolate, drizzled in caramel sauce, and topped with crushed pretzels

We were pleasantly surprised by this. Perhaps it is due to ordering early in the day, but the base churros were warm and soft. They actually had a little flavor, which is unusual for Walt Disney World churros.

Cast Members hand dip each churro in the chocolate after you order. The added toppings balance very well with the churro and each other.

You do initially get a big kick of chocolate, but then the caramel, pretzels, and cinnamon sugar break through.

It is a great combination of salty and sweet. While not the most exciting flavors, it is a fresh and tasty shareable snack at a decent price.
