REVIEW: Forget Starbucks — THIS Is The Only Disney Coffee Drink You Need

When you spend all day at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, you need a SERIOUS pick-me-up. Did someone say coffee time?

Hello from the Pacific Wharf Cafe!

Oh, wait, it’s us! WE said coffee time! But we’re not just going to head to Starbucks and grab a frappuccino. Oh no, we’re going for something a little more special, something that takes Horchata and turns it into a Cold Brew. OH, YES.

If you’re not familiar with Horchata, it’s a super refreshing Mexican drink made with rice and cinnamon. But over at Pacific Wharf Cafe, it’s been upgraded as a Cold Brew. We had something similar at Disneyland last month — here’s what that drink looked like:

Horchata Cold Brew from January

This Horchata Cold Brew is a creamy blend of Cold Brew and House-made Rice and Cinnamon.

Yum!

THIS version of the Horchata Cold Brew looks less layered and just more like a regular Cold Brew. However, like the previous one, it was DELICIOUS. Similar to other good cold brews, the coffee flavor is light and smooth with no bitterness.

Coffee acquired

We also got the strong cinnamon flavor from the Horchata, and as a whole, the drink was velvety smooth with just the right amount of sweetness.

Horchata Cold Brew

If you’d like to get your caffeine fix with a horchata twist, head on over to Pacific Wharf Cafe’s Cappuccino Cart — it will cost ‘ya $6.

We’re tasting EVERYTHING at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, so stay tuned for more reviews!
