REVIEW: Fantastic Cheddar Ranch Burger and Caramel Vanilla Cold Brew at Red Rose Taverne in Disneyland

Red Rose Taverne in Disneyland Park has two new seasonal offerings: a cheddar ranch burger and a caramel vanilla cold brew. We picked up both to review.

Cheddar Ranch Burger – $13.79

1/3 lb Angus Patty, Cheddar, Battered Cheese Curds, Pickles and Pepperoncini Ranch on a Toasted Bun with Cuties® Mandarin Oranges or French Fries

This is surprisingly good. We don’t always like it when ranch dressing is added to something other than a salad, but it comes together well on this burger.

The pickles, peppers, cheese curds, and patty are set off by the ranch dressing, which brings herb flavor and a hint of garlic.

The dill pickles provide a fantastic crunch and bring some good structure to the burger, making it an overall excellent dining experience.

We will definitely be returning for this burger.

Caramel Vanilla Cold Brew – $5.99

Caramel, Vanilla, and Cinnamon Cold Brew with Cream

This is a light and sweet cold brew. Unlike a lot of the fancy cold brews served seasonally at Red Rose Taverne, this one has a subtle and understated flavor instead of an overpowering one.

Coffee is the predominant note, followed by cinnamon and a roasted caramel flavor.

It’s rather creamy, which does bring some thickness and makes it less enjoyable in the sun after a while. But sipping it in the shade and people-watching would make for a perfect afternoon.
