We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Disney World restaurants since the parks and resorts first reopened in the summer of 2020.

Restaurants have slowly reopened, character meals have come back in a modified way, and in the past few months, we’ve seen buffets return to Disney World. Today, buffet dining came back to another restaurant!

It was announced a few weeks ago that the buffet would soon return to Cape May Cafe, and today we’re here at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to check it out. Buffet service is available for both breakfast and dinner now, and we’re here for the breakfast buffet — what a great way to start out our day! LET’S EAT.

Atmosphere

When we arrived at the restaurant, we first checked in using Mobile Check-In! It’s pretty simple, your My Disney Experience app will notify you when it’s time to check in, or you can also find your reservation on the app and then check-in.

Once it was our turn, we were directed to our table in the dining room.

Note that Cape May breakfast has been open since May of 2021, the buffet just hasn’t been available until now!

Now it’s time to check out the buffet! Let’s see what we’ve got to eat.

Buffet

First, before you even go up to the buffet, a server will bring you a drink menu…

…as well as some Salted Caramel “Beach Buns” with vanilla cream to start your meal! You guys, look at how yummy this bread is. We’re VERY happy this morning!

That pour, though!! Ugh, we wish you could smell this through the screen.

Now, what’s available to eat on the buffet? Let’s go down the line and see!

Remember, you have to wear a face mask everywhere indoors in Disney World, so that includes while you’re up at the buffet grabbing food.

There is a selection of fruits…

…oatmeal and grits…

…waffles, French toast, and pancakes…

…cheddar biscuits and gravy (are you hungry yet?!).

There are plenty of breakfast classics on this buffet, as well as some unique items!

We’ve got potatoes, sausage, and bacon…

…and scrambled eggs.

There’s also a steak and egg scramble and some flour tortillas!

And, you can get some ham at the carving station (don’t worry — they brought out more!).

You can also get some veggies, if that’s your thing for breakfast!

And, there are even crepes available!

You can get these beautiful poached eggs and potato hash with hollandaise sauce as well.

There is also an omelet station where you can customize your eggs!
