REVIEW: When Your Disney Cupcake is Actually a…Brownie? Wait, What?

Would you eat a brownie…that’s dressed as a cupcake??

We’ve had some epic treats at Jolly Holiday!

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland is home to some delicious pastries, coffees, teas, salads, sandwiches, and more, and we’ve had some epic treats there. Today we got to try a returning snack, and chocolate lovers HAVE to check it out. Even if it’s a little confusing.

Today we visited Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland to try the Chocolate Mousse Brownie for $5.49, which actually looks a lot like a cupcake! This chocolate chip brownie is made with dark chocolate ganache and topped with white chocolate mousse, crunchy chocolate pearls, and a Mary Poppins penguin chocolate piece. This treat is returning from 2019 with a few changes, like swapping out vanilla buttercream for white chocolate mousse!

Chocolate Mousse Brownie

Remember the penguin waiters in Mary Poppins? So cute! This brownie is MEANT for chocolate lovers. In fact, we LOVED how chocolatey this was, and the chocolate chips on the inside added a nice crunch. And even more chocolate. Yum.

It’s really cute!

Our only issue is that it was served chilled, and as a brownie, it might’ve been better served warm. Still, we really enjoyed it just like we did in 2019 (even with the new changes!), and if you’re a big chocolate fan you’ll probably enjoy this. Just don’t get it if you’re expecting a cupcake!

Technically not a cupcake

You can find the Chocolate Mousse Cupcake at Jolly Holiday for $5.49. Stay tuned for more food reviews from DFB!

Closing dates announced for 3 Downtown Disney locations!
