Review: Is Disney’s Latest Dessert Mash-Up Genius or a No-Go?

Disneyland Resort is known for having some pretty awesome desserts.

Beignets!

They have Mickey beignets, all kinds of churros, fun funnel cakes, and even mini donuts! So, we were excited to hear about a new seasonal dessert over in Disney California Adventure — come check it out with us!

This is the Cherry Cheesecake Bread Pudding over at Pacific Wharf Cafe! It’s a Graham Cracker flavored Bread Pudding with a Cheesecake Filling topped with Glazed Cherries, Whipped Cream, and crushed Graham Crackers (Uh, YUM!!).

OMG!

The bread pudding was served warm, which was amazing! The cheesecake filling was really sweet, as was the glaze, which had actual cherries in it.

So many good things in one dessert!

The whipped cream on top was light, fluffy, and creamy (as it should be), and it went really well with the cherry flavor. The crushed graham crackers on top were great, too, because they added a bit of a crunch to the dessert!

Those cherries are BRIGHT red!

We absolutely LOVED this treat and would recommend it to anyone who likes cherries and wants a satisfying dessert. If you’re not a cherry fan, this isn’t for you, because that is the main flavor. You also need to have a sweet tooth for this one!

We’ll share! Maybe…

If you want to try out the Cherry Cheesecake Bread Pudding for yourself, head on over to the Pacific Wharf Cafe and grab it for $5.99! It’s also definitely big enough to split with someone else if you want to, so it’s a pretty good value. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and reviews.
