Prepare for CHILLY Weather in Disney World Next Week!

We don’t know about you, but we could really use a trip to Disney World right about now. If you’re lucky enough to be planning a vacation to Disney World next week, you’re might want to take a look at the forecast before you go! Now that EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts started, you’re probably going to be spending some time outside, and there’s nothing worse than being unprepared for Florida weather!

Disney World sunsets are EXTRA beautiful!

You might think that a sunny state like Florida would be warm all year long, but that’s not always the case! Now that we’re pretty far into the winter season, it’s been pretty chilly in Disney World. With that in mind, let’s take a look at next week’s weather forecast in Disney World!

Weather Forecast

There’s been snow and ice in some parts of the country lately, and while Florida is a little too far south for real snow (most of the time), that doesn’t mean Floridians aren’t feeling the cold, too! Last week, the temperature average was in the mid-60s, with lows in the 40s. This week, we’re seeing more of that same cold weather!

Let’s roll!

You may not want to visit the pool, but there are plenty of other things to do in Disney World in the winter! According to The Weather Channel, you can expect your days to be cool and cloudy, with some low 40-degree evenings.

January 24th

Monday, January 24th is expected to be a pretty chilly day. There’s a low chance of precipitation during the day (right now they’re predicting a 7% chance), but the likelihood for rain increases at night. Look out for a little bit of wind, and make sure to pack some jackets to keep yourself protected!

As long as you have some pants (and maybe a hat), you should be in good shape based on the forecast!

January 25th

On Tuesday, January 25th, expect a cloudy, rainy day. Based on that wind prediction, it might be a blustery day, too! Don’t worry, though, this doesn’t mean your day is a wash! There are plenty of things to do in Disney World that will keep you out of that rainy weather.

In the evening, the temperature should be a little warmer than the previous day, which is good news!

January 26th

Halfway through the week, the temperatures are looking higher! Wednesday, January 26th, has a 69-degree high and a 50-degree low, which should make for a pretty nice day in Disney!

While the temperature may not look too cold, don’t forget that the wind can make you feel pretty chilly — especially if you don’t have a jacket!

January 27th

On Thursday, January 27th, the temperatures seem to be sticking to a pretty consistent pattern. Based on the current forecast, you can prepare for days in the 60s and nights in the 40s-50s.

Pro tip: don’t let the clouds fool you! Even on cloudy days, you might want to apply some sunscreen to protect your skin.

January 28th

For Friday, January 28th, the weather looks pretty similar to the rest of the week. Although there’s a low chance of rain most days this week, you should still pack a poncho or an umbrella; you never know when the rain might hit in Florida!

Don’t forget to take the humidity into account when planning your trip. On Friday, the humidity is expected to be at 60-70%.

January 29th

By now, you can probably get a pretty good sense of what to expect on Saturday, January 29th! There’s a low chance of precipitation, winds at 5-10 mph, and humidity in the 50-70% range.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: pack. layers. They’re a lifesaver on days when the wind randomly picks up or rain decides to cool down the air!

January 30th

Finally, Sunday, January 30th ends the week with a slightly warmer day!

Overall, the weather looks pretty mild and manageable for the week!
