The sign for Akershus in the Norway Pavilion of EPCOT has been restored to its former glory.

Here is what the sign looked like for the past few months, with a flat face reading “Restaurant Akershus.”

It no longer reads “Restaurant Akershus” but instead says “Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.”

A banner reading “Princess Storybook Dining” still hangs beneath the sign, although this has not been available since the park initially closed due to COVID-19 in March 2020.

It acted as a “relaxation station” when the parks reopened and then became a temporary Florida Blue lounge last year, around which time the sign was switched to “Restaurant Akershus.”

This sign has three-dimensional elements, including the royal crown on top and wood filigree around the name.
