A NEW Ride Has Taken the Top Spot for Highest Wait Time in EPCOT this Week!

Since the holidays are over, we thought that the crowds in Disney World were slowing down, but did that hold up this week with the holiday weekend and the opening of a festival at EPCOT? We like to keep up with how lines are looking in order to gauge how busy it is, so here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.

Magic Kingdom

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 88 minutes!

After that, we had Peter Pan’s Flight at 70 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 64 minutes, Space Mountain at 53 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 51 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 43 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 40 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 36 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 34 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 32 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 27 minutes, and “it’s a small world” at 26 minutes.

Then, we saw Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 24 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 23 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 22 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 19 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 18 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 15 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 14 minutes.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Carousel of Progress at 5 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at  5 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 4 minutes, and Tom Sawyer Island at 2 minutes. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

Over in EPCOT, we had a brand new ride take the top spot for the first time! The ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 85 minutes, as it just switched from a virtual queue to a standby line.

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 64 minutes, Test Track at 52 minutes, Soarin’ at 32 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 15 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 11 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 11 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 11 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes, Living with the Land at 9 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 7 minutes.

The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 145 minutes.

After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 79 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 62 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 58 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 57 minutes, Tower of Terror at 55 minutes, and Toy Story Mania at 52 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 34 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 19 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 17 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 13 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 85 minutes.

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 55 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 43 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 26 minutes.

Following behind was TriceraTop Spin at 12 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 10 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 5 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
