It’s time for Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion to leave its refurbishment cocoon — and emerge as a spooky Halloween butterfly, The Nightmare Before Christmas-style!

Today we had the opportunity to ride Haunted Mansion Holiday!. Are you ready to see what this year has in store for Haunted Mansion’s Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween makeover?

In Disneyland, the Haunted Mansion is located in New Orleans Square, and Haunted Mansion Holiday takes over the interior AND the exterior of Disney’s spookiest ride. At the front entrance, Jack Skellington, dressed as Santa Claus, sits on a jack-o’-lantern with Christmas wreath monsters eating the Haunted Mansion signs.

The monster wreaths are definitely eyeing guests who dare to enter the Haunted Mansion queue.

Once you step into the ride queue, you come across a pumpkin-headed scarecrow dressed as Santa Claus in a patch of pumpkins.

If you look at the Haunted Mansion, you’ll see a lonnnnng list hanging from the roof. Written on it are all of Jack’s attempts to make sense of Christmastime!

What’s the formula for Christmas?

A countdown clock to “Xmas” now adorns the Haunted Mansion, with zero days left. Can you count the 400+ candles now decorating the Haunted Mansion?

You can also spot a bunch of jack-o’-lanterns hanging out in the Haunted Mansion’s carriage.

While on the ride, we caught a glimpse of the new Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread HouseEvery year a different gingerbread house is featured, and this years is a Frankensteined mash-up of nineteen of the past years’ gingerbread houses!
