BRAIN FREEZE ALERT! Our FAVORITE Frozen Drinks Around Disney World!

Whether you’re visiting Walt Disney World in the blazing heat of the summer, or you just want something to cool down after some intense rides, you can quench your thirst for something frosty with these favorite frozen drinks!

Hello, Night Blossom!

Let us clue you in on a little secret — it is blazing hot in Walt Disney World almost all year. LOL< OK — worst kept secret EVA! The good news is, no matter where you are, you will find a refreshing frozen drink that will put a smile on the sweatiest of faces. Check out some of our team’s favorite frozen drinks.

Let’s take you on a tour of Disney World to find our favorite frozen drinks, we’ll start with the “adult” variety, and then highlight some chilly beverages that can please the whole family! So grab your reusable swirly straw and let’s find our favorite chilly sips!

EPCOT

You’ve hit the motherlode of frozen drinks when you head to EPCOT, and it can be hard to find just one favorite. These are the best of the best when you are surrounded by so many choices of deliciously frosty treats.

Fiesta Margarita

First up on the list of most yum drinks is this twist on the classic. Frozen flavors of Classic Lime, Wild Strawberry with a touch of prickly pear puree, and Mango with passion fruit give the Fiesta Margarita drink the layered look and taste for $12.75.

Fruit filled Fiesta in a glass

It’s not quite the quality of some of the frozen (and on the rocks) drinks inside at La Cava del Tequila, but it’s quick, easy, super photographic, and plenty strong enough. The kick here comes from Tequila Blanco, and you’ll want to get your kicks over to Choza de Margarita in the Mexico Pavilion to grab one of these.

This Overpriced Celebrity Margarita Has Moved Places in Disney World!

Le Geant Slush — Grand Marnier Slush — Grey Goose Slush

Head on over to the France Pavilion, where they have cornered the market on swoonable slush drinks. Les Vins des Chefs de France slaps with three superb slush options. If the oh-so-popular Grand Marnier Slush, with its frosty combination of Grand Marnier, Grey Goose vodka, rum, and orange juice, doesn’t chill your cheeks, maybe the citrusy Grey Goose slush with its bright and tart lemon flavor will.

SUPERSIZED!

And if you are in need of a serious cooldown, Le Geant Slush —which may be French for OMG that’s a big slush (it actually just means GIANT!) —can be made in either the Grand Marnier or Grey Goose variety for $19.

A Cave and Flights of Champagne?! These Are the IT Places to Drink Wine in EPCOT

Ice Cream Martini

While we’re in France, we couldn’t miss mentioning another top hit on a hot day. Head on over to L’Artisan des Glaces where the order of the day is the Ice Cream Martini for $13.95.

Pina Colada Ice Cream Martini

Sorry guys, we know ice cream isn’t a drink, but it totally counts as a frozen food. Douse it in liqueur and it is squarely in “drink” territory as far as we’re concerned! Once you discover this indulgent treat, you can’t live without these two delicious scoops of ice cream of your choice topped with rum, whipped cream vodka, or Grand Marnier. Look for seasonal flavors, too!

PSST: Did You Know You Can Buy Individual Macarons at Disney World?!

Avocado Margarita

We are headed back to the Mexico Pavilion for this crazy good frozen concoction from La Cava del Tequila (we told you they were really good!). Tequila Blanco, Midori Melon liqueur, and freshly cut avocado are blended with agave nectar syrup and lime juice for the famous Avocado Margarita.

Forget the avocado toast – pass one of these!

If you’ve never been exposed to this drink you might bel like “EWW. Avocado IN my drink?” Trust us, young one. Trust us. It’s the perfect balance of tart and sweet and the avocado lends a slightly creamy mouthfeel to the drink. This topped our team’s suggestions because it’s just. so. good. The tart, creamy, and refreshing Avocado Margarita is available for $15.50 and served with a hibiscus Himalayan salt rim. La buena vida!

La Cava Del Tequila Debuts a NEW Margarita in EPCOT!

Italian Margarita

Just when you think the Mexico Pavilion has cornered the market on the frozen margarita game, Gelateria Toscana over in the Italy Pavilion is about to impress with its own version.

Italian Margarita

This drink has been a favorite of ours for YEARS and has basically become a staple at the Italy Booth of whatever festival is currently going on in EPCOT! Now it has a new home year-round! The Italian Margarita is a refreshingly cool blend of limoncello, tequila, and margarita flavors for $14. Lemon is the strongest flavor here — it really tastes more like a boozy lemon slush than a traditional marg. It is a burst of chilling flavor on even the hottest of days.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom can be one of the hottest parks to be in on a sunny day, so finding the most refreshing frozen drinks is going to be key to your survival. While you’ll find plenty of cool drink options, we have a few standout favorites.

Dole Whip With Rum

Tamu Tamu Refreshments has long been a great place to pop in for a cold drink or snack in Harambe Village, but you can get a Disney classic here that’s all grown up.

We love you, Dole Whip

The beloved theme park favorite Dole Whip gets an adult spin here with your choice of dark rum or coconut rum for $10, and we’ve never loved a Dole Whip more!

Khumbu Icefall

The trek over to Asia, or the wobbly-legged walk back after seeing a Yeti, is the best time to try this next frozen favorite at the Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks.

Khumbu Icefall

The Khumbu Icefall brings the fruity freshness of raspberry and coconut puree together with Cruzan Guava Rum for $12. This is a seriously refreshing drink that has SO much fruity flavor. It will give you just the courage — and the cooldown — to continue on to your Everest ascent.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Ah, Hollywood Studios. The frozen drinks aren’t quite as plentiful here as other parks, but there’s still a lot to appreciate! Here’s some of our favorites!

Frozen Rum (or Jack) and Coke

Peevy’s Polar Pipeline is bringing together both a classic frozen favorite and a classic adult beverage to make one awesomely chill beverage. Who doesn’t love the cool flavors of a frozen Coke for $4.99 when it’s a hot theme park day?

Step right up!

Well, now bump that up by ordering it with Bacardi’s Silver Rum or Jack Daniels Tennessee Whisky for $13. It’s like your favorite Coke Icee or Slurpee grew up. Best yet, your kiddos can sip on a regular frozen Coke while you get down with the adult version!

Disney Springs

There is definitely no lack of incredible food and amazing beverages when you’re visiting Disney Springs, but we’ve found a few frozen flavors you won’t want to miss.

Frosé and Freaujolais

We don’t hide the fact that we love Wine Bar George. This dining spot and bustling wine bar has proven itself to us time and again. But we don’t highlight the little gem that is The Basket at Wine Bar George as much — and we SHOULD. This little walk-up window next to the main restaurant is a handy spot to grab some quick nibbles and sips and it’s here where we find some of the most refreshing frozen wine cocktails.

Friezling at Wine Bar George

This spot got the idea early that “People LOVE Dole Whip. People love booze.” And the rest is history. Now, Wine Bar George serves up a variety of slushy boozy Dole Whip drinks as well as other wine-based frozen concoctions. You really can’t go wrong with any of the frozen cocktails offered, but we have to give a shout-out to Friezling made with Lime Dole Whip, Selbach Riesling, and Vodka for $13 and the Freaujolais made with Beaujolais, Vodka, and Raspberries for $13. And a little tip for y’all: if you buy a Corkcicle there, you can get your first frozen cocktail for free and subsequent refills (and there will be refills!) slightly discounted!

Frozen Flight

When it’s hot, and you’re thirsty, what could possibly be better than a frozen cocktail to cool you off? How about a whole frozen cocktail flight? Splitsville Luxury Lanes and the walk-up Bamboo Bar have given us just that.

Making a splash at Splitsville with the frozen flight

Sip on a Piña Colada (Dole Whip, Coco Lopez, Bacardi Superior, and Rumhaven Coconut, topped with a splash of dark rum), Rumrunner (151 Rum, blackberry brandy, Creme de Banana, pineapple, and lime), and Big Wave Dave (vodka, grain alcohol, and raspberry) each for $13. This is a great flight to share and try a variety of fruity flavors.

Resorts

Gata-Melon Juice and All That Jazz

We can’t wait for the Port Orleans Resorts to reopen in October. One of the first things we’ll do when it does is make a quick pit stop at theMuddy Rivers Pool Bar over at the Riverside portion of the resort. It’s there you’ll find the Gata-Melon Juice, a frozen combo of Midori Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice, and Monin Banana blended with Piña Colada mix for $18.

Muddy Rivers Pool Bar

If you’re feeling especially hot and thirsty, you can combine this frosty favorite with two other frozen blends in an All That Jazz cocktail, which highlights the Gata-Melon juice along with the NoLa Cola for $19 and the Front Porch Freeze for $18. The colors basically make Mardi Gras in a glass. Fitting for this resort! 🙂

All That Jazz

All of these specialty frozen cocktails are available in their souvenir hurricane glass!

Honorable Mention

Piña CoLAVA

You’ll find this specialty frozen cocktail pretty widely available at Disney World, but we especially love them while sitting at one of the pool bars, cooling off after a way too toasty visit to the parks. The Piña CoLAVA is a familiar classic poolside piña colada cocktail, with one difference — raspberry puree!

Pina CoLAVA from Petals Pool Bar at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

The cocktail adds raspberry rum and raspberry puree to the coconut and pineapple cocktail traditionally for $13, and it brings a new level of sweetness to a tropical favorite. Find this at, well, basically any pool bar on property!

A Secret Menu Drink With POG Juice?! This is True Disney World Paradise.

Non-alcoholic frozen drinks

HEY! We didn’t forget about you non-boozy drinkers and kids! Of course, you’ll find frozen Cokes and frozen lemonades throughout the Disney theme parks, but these frozen drink treats go above and beyond the usual heat-busting thirst quenchers. Check them out.

LeFou’s Brew — Magic Kingdom

A featured menu item at Gaston’s Tavern, this is a sweet sip to cool off with in New Fantasyland. LeFou’s Brew is a blend of no sugar added apple juice, a slight hint of marshmallow, topped with a passion fruit foam for $5,79.

Better than beer at any tavern

If Gaston had started his day with this instead of five dozen eggs, he might have been a little more pleasant. Just sayin’.

Dole Whip Float — Magic Kingdom

You just can’t go wrong with a classic, and you’ll always find just that at Magic Kingdom. The Dole Whip Float, which you can snag at Aloha Isle, combines pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice for $5.99.

The OG Dole Whip Float

It is seriously the OG refreshing cool down at Disney World.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake — Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Sometimes it takes a blast from the past to get a blast of frosty refreshment, and you can do that at 50’s Prime Time Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Blended with vanilla ice cream are actual peanut butter and a hint of grape jelly, giving this creamy ice cream drink a taste of real nostalgia for $9.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake with Viewfinder Dessert Menu at 50s Prime Time Cafe

We hear you like “EWW, that sounds gross.” Umm, excuse us, no. This is a delight in a glass. Don’t believe us? Try it! You’ll get mostly a taste of peanut butter in this with the ever so slight sweet taste from the jelly. It’s one of our all time favorite drinks in Disney World so just trust us on this one — it’s GOOD. If you can’t get to Hollywood Studios any time soon, try making it at home!

The Unspoken Rules of Eating in Disney World

Blue Milk — Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We actually listed this among one of the Worst Foods You Should TOTALLY Eat, so why does it make the list of frozen drinks we love? Because you should absolutely try Blue Milk. Like, if you go to Galaxy’s Edge and DON’t try blue milk, did you REALLY even go?? You’ll find this controversial concoction at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at The Milk Standand while this is a hard pass for some of us, it tops the list for others.

Plain ‘ole blue milk.

The milk is a soft frozen blend of rice and coconut milk, and you’ll taste a mixture of dragonfruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon for $7.99. Some people say it has sort of a yogurt taste and texture, but it’s actually complete lactose-free! The flavors are mild here. You’re really getting it for the experience and (probably) a few photos. A lot of people think it’s perfectly refreshing on a hot day. There’s a Green Milk option too (like Luke guzzles in The Last Jedi). That’s flavored with mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom. Some people are #teamgreenmilk, some are #teambluemilk. Others are #teamewwnomilk…you decide! You may want to try a Blue Milk Hack if you want even more options!

Night Blossom — Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Journey to Pandora – the World of AVATAR and sidle over to an unassuming little stop for sips and snacks, Pongu PonguIt’s here you’ll find our next favorite frozen drink, the Night Blossom for $5.99. Colorfully crafted with limeade, apple, and desert pear flavors, the drink is topped off with passion fruit boba balls.

Night Blossom

This is probably the most Instagrammable option on this whole list for good reason — look at it! It’s GORG! And even though this makes our non-alcoholic favorites list, you can ask them to spike it to make it a Rum Blossom for $13!

There are so many frozen drink options at Walt Disney World, and it’s well worth the effort to hunt down some of the more memorable ones. Keep an eye out for special, seasonal offerings — these only appear for a limited time, so you will definitely want to check those out when you visit. No matter how hot it gets, we’ve got you covered with these frozen favorites! And if you find an adult option, you can always ask if they can make a version without alcohol for you!
