It looks like Disney may have a villainous surprise in the works!

Disney villains are some of the characters that we truly love to hate. We’ve seen some villains-themed merchandise lines in the parks, deliciously evil snacks dedicated to the baddies, and even designer bags themed after the meanest fashionista we know. Now, we’re seeing clues that indicate a special Disney villains event could be coming soon to Orlando!

According to a post placed on the Disney Auditions website, Disney is looking for actors to portray classic Disney villains for an event in Central Florida. All we know about the event so far is that it will take place October 16th through October 22nd of this year in Central Florida, and it involves lots of classic Disney villains.

The audition notice specifically states that Disney is looking for actors who can “emulate” the villains “as they appear in their original animated feature.”

The villains on the list for casting notice are:

• Anastasia
• Captain Hook
• Cruella
• Dr. Facilier
• Drizella
• Gaston
• Hades
• Jafar
• Kronk
• Lady Tremaine
• Maleficient
• Queen of Hearts
• The Evil Queen
• Yzma

Disney is looking for people who “have a resemblance, and voice quality of the original” villain. They’ve even stated that travel for some of the roles may be available for the actors. Want to audition? You’ll want to act fast because submissions are due no later than September 2nd, 2021.

In the past, Disney villains have taken over the Magic Kingdom at the Disney Villains After Hours event and you can see a number of villains during BOO Bash. BOO Bash will be taking place during select nights in August, September, and October, but it seems this casting notice could be for something different. What special event is Disney casting for with this audition notice? Will it be the return of a villains-themed event we’ve seen in the past or something entirely different? Right now, Disney really hasn’t shared any information on that.
