Details Released Regarding Disneyland’s New Magic Key & the Return of WDW New Pass Sales

Big news has arrived for Disneyland Legacy Passholders, as well as those hoping to be able to enjoy more of the magic of the Disneyland Resort.

The details for Magic Key, the new annual passholder offering for Disneyland, have been released. The passes (or keys) can be purchased in one of four tiers, and offer varying discounts on merchandise, food and beverage options, and parking.

The number of park reservations that can be held at one time also varies, with the most being six at one time for those who have purchased the Dream Key and the Believe Key.

You can find all of the Magic Key details in the graphic above. Magic Key can be purchased beginning August 25th, and those who purchase Magic Key in the first 66 days (Disneyland is currently celebrating its 66th birthday) will receive a welcome package that includes “unique items such as a premium branded pin, celebratory button, magnet, and more.” Those who become charter members by purchasing Magic Key during the first 66 days will also be able to attend a special limited-time experience in Tomorrowland’s Starcade beginning September 1st.

California residents can take advantage of a monthly payment plan, and sample pricing after down payments would have passholders paying $19/month for the Imagine Key.

Disney has also announced that Walt Disney World will once again offer new annual passes for purchase before the 50th anniversary on October 1st, with further details to be offered at a later date.

We’ll keep you up-to-date as additional details are released.
