If you haven’t noticed, the Jungle Cruise is one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland right now, and for good reason (and no it’s not because of a renewed interest in the back side of water).
The movie is almost here!
First, the attraction recently reopened at Disneyland as a reimagined ride. But there’s also a Jungle Cruise movie you might’ve heard about starring some little-known actors named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt.
Yeah, we hadn’t heard much about them either (just kidding! 
). Actually, we are SO excited about the movie, which is inspired by one of the most classic attractions at Disneyland — it’s so classic that it OPENED with the park back in 1955. And Disney is celebrating the release of the movie with new snacks at Disney Parks, a Jungle Cruise episode on Behind The Attraction on Disney+, and more!
World premiere, baby!
Today, the movie will have its world premiere at Disneyland! We’ve already seen the movie’s two stars at the parks (and yes, we were TOTALLY star struck when we saw Maui and Mary Poppins IN THE FLESH). And we even got to eat some goodies from The Rock’s food truck! The park is getting ready for the big event — the red carpet has been rolled out!

Soon, Disneyland will be home to a bevy of stars ready to celebrate the world premiere of the movie!

Earlier, we were greeted at the Disneyland gates by Cast Members handing out gift bags.

And they were Jungle Cruise gift bags to celebrate the movie’s world premiere here at Disneyland today! Cool, right?

It was a nice surprise getting some freebies in honor of the film’s release — now we just can’t wait to see it! We know it will be super punny…er…funny.
