Lower Crowds + Mickey Rompers for the Fourth of July at Disney World? Count Us IN!

Holidays at Disney World tend to be the busiest times to visit, but there is usually a reason for that.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Crowds for the Fourth!

One of our favorite reasons to visit the theme parks on holidays is to see the guests dress up for the occasion! While crowds today at the parks seemed a bit lighter compared to a typical Fourth of July there has been no shortage of style in the parks.

From patriotic Mickey rompers to stars and stripes, families came prepared to celebrate America today and it totally SHOWS! The Mickey romper was a very popular outfit in the park today, and we’re here for it!

Apart from the amazing outfits that everyone has put together, we can see some pretty normal crowds between all theme parks, but nothing like we have seen in the past for the Fourth of July. We had one of our reporters call the park hopper line at 1:30, and all theme parks were still available to park hop to which means they had not reached capacity!

Magic Kingdom crowds for the Fourth

While we may see crowds creep higher as we get closer to fireworks time, there is NOTHING wrong with a light traffic day at Disney World on a holiday. Guests in the park today are living their BEST life. Let’s get into what the crowds looked like at each park!

Amazing outfit on a guest for the Fourth!

Crowds at EPCOT did not look bad at all for a holiday. While the park was not empty it was nothing compared to what it typically is. We’ve seen the Mexico Pavilion busier than this on a regular day!

Mexico Pavilion Crowds

Over in the Magic Kingdom, we can see the crowds filling up Main Street, U.S.A. but nothing out of the ordinary and no more crowds than a usual summer day.

Everyone is READY for some Fireworks!

Over in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom, we saw some pretty light crowds.

Light crowds for a holiday!

Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom was pretty scarce as well!

Paging Mr. Morrow! Where are all the people?

Hopping over to Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom we saw more crowding, but it is not out of the ordinary to have a bottleneck over in this area.

Just a small bottleneck over near “It’s a Small World”

Heading on over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom we saw more of the same, lower than expected crowds.

Nothing better than some Tree of Life in the morning

Over near the Harambe Market, we continued to see lower crowds as well. We did notice that there were more tables out than usual!

Where are the people?

Once we finished up at Disney’s Animal Kingdom we headed over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and FINALLY found out where all the crowds had been hiding!

Everyone showed up to Hollywood Studios today!

We saw some pretty thick crowds over on Sunset Boulevard. These were the heaviest crowds we had seen all day.

Hollywood Studios Crowds

For a day with heavy crowds at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we were pleased to find Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway only had a 45-minute wait!

Nothing Can Stop us Now!

Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we saw the same heavy crowds throughout!

Crowds over in Galaxy’s Edge were STRONG with the Force

Overall, we were happy to see some pretty light crowds for the Fourth of July! Make sure if you are ever visiting a Disney park on a holiday be sure to bring your outfit A-Game. Have a Happy Fourth of July everyone!
