Casey’s Corner is a highly nostalgic dining option that is a must-do for anyone considering coming to Disney’s Magic Kingdom. CASEY’S CORNER
Have you ever wanted to experience an early twentieth century baseball concession stand, without actually going to a game? Well now you can, only at Casey’s Corner! You can almost hear the crack of the bat when you walk in and you can smell the hog dogs in every square inch. Casey’s Corner is a counter service restaurant in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom specializing in hot dogs, frankfurters, and perro calientes. You can yet again stroll down Main Street and swing by Casey’s Corner for a delicious”designer” hot dog. If a Walt Disney World vacation is the american dream, dining at Casey’s Corner is the most american thing you can get. Really, what is there not to love about this place? It’s a classic Americana and classic Disney.
ATMOSPHERE
Located at the Northwest corner of Main Street, you’ll find Disney’s very own Casey’s Corner. Having the resemblance of an early twentieth century baseball concession stand, you will get an enlightenment of those baseball games yet again. The theme of this spectacular restaurant is based around Ernest Thayer poem “Casey at the Bat”. Thus being themed and adapted into a cartoon by Disney in the 1940’s. Upon entering this establishment, you will find Disney Cast Members dressed in baseball uniforms, just like the players on the Mudville team. The inside has various nods to the history of baseball and Coca-Cola. With the partnership between Disney and Coca-Cola you can witness all of nostalgic decor in the form of vintage Tiffany hanging lights, glassware, and stained glass. They provide grandstand seating that truly does make you feel like you’re about to watch a baseball game. Tucked in every corner you will find amazing vintage nic nacs from a pinball machine, glassware, paintings, baseballs hats, etc. They even provide outdoor seating with several old-fashioned red and white table and chair sets. Bright, matching umbrellas and breathtaking views. This is also an amazing spot in the park to watch any Castle shows, fireworks, or even parades. Casey’s Corner is a very refreshing and appealing establishment to catch a bite at, they encapsulate specific elements of the American experience!
FOOD
With the captivating appeal of theming here at Casey’s Corner, you will also find nostalgia within the food options. Only at Casey’s Corner will you have the opportunity to dive into the classic American baseball eatery. You can find happiness for their well known gourmet hotdogs or maybe a sweet treat such as a baseball brownie. They’ve provided you with the food options your wife tells you to lay off of. You can find delicious hot dogs from a Chili-Cheese All-Beef Foot-long hot Dog, All-Beef Foot-long Hot Dog, Chili-Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog, All-Beef Hot Dog, or maybe just a simple order of Corn Dog Nuggets. The possibilities for hot dogs are endless here at Casey’s Corner. Maybe you’re not in the mood for a hot dog. You can acquire snacks from every direction, pick yourself up a side of Chili-Cheese Fries or Chili! If you find yourself feeling just a little bit peckish, you just indulge your sweet tooth on a Baseball Brownie or maybe a 3 pack of Cuties. Yes they have cuties, what makes a baseball game without a set of Mandarins.
