Hello, DFB’ers! It’s been another super fun week at Disney World!
We’re still enjoying all the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival food and festivities, as well as celebrating the reopening of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (even if it’s a little hard to get in there right now). But there are a few other reopenings at Disney World we’re keeping an eye on, too — along with some menu updates!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Catalina Eddie’s
Disney has not yet posted hours or given a reopening date for Catalina Eddie’s at Hollywood Studios, but some menu updates have come in, so it could reopen soon! Here’s what’s changed:
- Adding: Snacking Sandwich Cookie — Fluffy Vanilla Marshmallow sandwiched between Pretzel and Potato Chip-Shortbread Cookies covered in Dark Chocolate and Flaky Sea Salt for $4.99
- REMOVED: Meat Lover’s Pizza
You can also get the Snacking Sandwich Cookie at Fairfax Fare, also at Hollywood Studios!

Kat Saka’s Kettle
Have you been missing that fun Star Wars-inspired popcorn from Kat Saka’s? Well, you may be able to get your hands on it soon. The Disney World website is showing hours for this restaurant as of July 25th.
We’ll be there, so stay tuned!

Magic Kingdom
Prince Eric’s Village Market
We’ve got some hours posted for Prince Eric’s Village Market, though — according to the Disney World website, Prince Eric’s will be open on July 26th at 11AM. And there are a few changes to the menu there:
- Turkey Leg no longer comes with chips and price decreased from $14.49 to $12.49
- REMOVED: Mermaid Donut, and Chocolate Chip Cookie
But the most exciting thing here is the NEW Mermaid Slushy, which is made with Frozen Blue Raspberry and Frozen Green Apple topped with Whipped Cream and a Mermaid Tail for $5.99. We’ll be sure to get you a review of it!

Cheshire Cafe
It also looks like Cheshire Cafe will reopen soon — the Disney World website has hours posted for the snack spot as of July 26th! AND there’s a new menu item here — the Curiouser and Curiouser Slushy.
It’s a Frozen Lemonade with Fanta Blue Raspberry, topped with Whipped Cream for $5.99.

Those are all the updates we have for this week, but we’ll let you know if we see more! So stay tuned!
