Welcome to the first day of the 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival!
We’ve been eating and drinking our way around ALL of the Outdoor Kitchens at this year’s festival. And our next stop takes us to Primavera Kitchen located in the Italy Pavilion!
Menu
Primavera Kitchen offers a fresh take on Italian dishes. The entire menu is returning — our eats consist of a hodge-podge of favorites from other festivals like the Margherita Pizza, Arancini, and Traditional Sicilian Cannoli. For drinks, we’ve got lots and lots of WINE!
Food
Our taste tour of this Outdoor Kitchen starts with the Margherita. For $8.50, you get a Rustic Italian Flatbread topped with vine-ripened tomatoes, whole-milk mozzarella, parmesan, and basil. The cheese carries the most weight as far as taste here — it’s really strong! Unfortunately, the rest of the flavors fell flat.
Next up is the Arancini, which consists of Sweet Sausage Fried Risotto Balls with Pomodoro Sauce. This savory snack actually popped up at L’Arte di Mangiare at this year’s Festival of the Arts, but now it’s making its Flower and Garden debut.
This one also wasn’t really a win. The sauce was strangely tangy and the risotto balls had very little flavor. Plus, there was almost no sausage taste. For $12, we wouldn’t recommend this dish.
Our last eat is the Traditional Sicilian Cannoli from last year’s Food and Wine Festival. It’s a Pastry filled with Sweet Ricotta, Chocolate, and Candied Orange. Again, it wasn’t our favorite, but it was better than the other food at the booth!
However, we’ll acknowledge that it had a nice, crisp texture and a subtle cinnamon flavor to it! This one costs $4.95.
Drinks
Onto the drinks! There are several types of beverages available at Primavera Kitchen. Guests looking for a beer will find the Peroni Pilsner for $6/6 oz and $10/12 oz.
Of course, there’s a selection of wine, including Pinot Grigio, Chianti, Prosecco, Rosa Regale, and Moscato. These range from $10-$11. The Prosecco was VERY dry — if you’re into sweet sips, you may want to go for a sangria!
There are two sangria options as well — Italian White Sangria with Prosecco ($11) and Italian Red Sangria with Cabernet Sauvignon ($11).

The red sangria was still sweet, but had a little dryness to it from the Cabernet Sauvignon. We preferred the red sangria over the white!
And finally, there’s an Italian Margarita with Limoncello and Tequila. This STRONG frozen drink is always a hit for us!
If you want to grab one for yourself, it’s $11.
Overall
The eats at this booth were a bit disappointing this year — in general, the food lacked flavor. But if you’re looking for a solid drink, Primavera Kitchen may be the place to go! The Italian Margarita and Italian Red Sangria with Cabernet Sauvignon are two great options.
We’ll continue to eat and drink our way around the rest of the Outdoor Kitchens to help you decide which items should make YOUR must-try list! Stay tuned to DFB for reviews from the rest of the festival booths!
