And with it being St. Patrick’s Day and all, we’ve been busy running all over Disney World trying out all the amazing green treats we can find, including a green mimosa, a St. Patrick’s Day key lime pie, and a chocolate and minty cookie! And now we’ve got another St. Paddy’s day treat we want to share with you!
We just HAD to check out the specialty drinks over at Starbucks at Disney Springs Marketplace — they’re constantly coming up with some unique beverages for special occasions. And we spotted a few on the menu! What to choose, what to choose? In the end, we went with The Shamrock, which is a Green Tea Frappuccino with Peppermint and Java Chips.
St.Paddy’s drinks? Yes, please!
Hey, it sounded yummy AND unique, so why not? And we weren’t disappointed. Imagine a Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie turned into a milkshake. Like if we didn’t know better, we would have thought we were drinking a legit Mint Chocolate Milkshake. YUM. The mint doesn’t overpower the flavor, so it’s basically a super refreshing dessert you can drink.
Might as well be a milkshake, and we’re okay with that
We also got LOADS of whipped cream on top because well…whipped cream makes things even BETTER! We think this one is a real people pleaser, except for people who maybe don’t like mint. But we’ll admit it — we wanted even more chocolate flavor, maybe like a chocolate drizzle or something.
It’s funny when they ask us if we want whipped cream on it…
But all in all, this was one tasty St. Patrick’s Day beverage for $6.25. If you’re wanting to try it out, you’ll want to head over to Disney Springs asap because it probably won’t be around for long. And we’ll keep trying more holiday treats out at Disney World and review them for you!
