Let’s Step into the Brand-new M&M’s Store at Disney Springs!

The brand-new M&M’s Store, located in Disney Springs’ West Side, opened this morning, and, if you’re someone with a sweet tooth, you’re going to want to add this to your itinerary. Trust me.

Before I get started, yes, there are other over-the-top M&M’s retail stores located around the world, and this location, like the others sell more M&M’s merchandise and, of course, candy, than your heart would ever desire. That being said, this location is on Disney property, and thus sells both co-branded merch and M&M’s. In my mind, that allows this location to stand out from the rest of the pack.

First things first, the store is beautiful. It’s colorful and it’s a barrage for the senses, but in a good way. The walls are a crisp white, allowing the candy to rightfully take center stage.

The store’s team members are welcoming, incredibly knowledgable, and had the system of getting guests in and through the store down pat. When I arrived, I joined the physical standby line and waited for about 15 minutes to enter the store.

The Disney partnership is evident from the word go, and that’s a great thing as that’s the question that I get with every new store that opens here at Disney Springs. Walt Disney World fans want mainstream stores that also offer just a bit of Disney. Here at the M&M’s Store, you get more than just a bit.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse M&M’s greet you as soon as you enter the shop. You can purchase these adorable candies in all sorts of containers; from champagne bottles to Mickey-shaped plastic cases.

Disney Springs and M&M-branded t-shirts, hooded tees, and cropped sweatshirts are also available for purchase. The hooded long sleeved tee and cropped sweatshirt feature Mickey and Minnie on the sleeve, as well as “Disney Springs.”

If you’re here for the candy (and who isn’t?), you’ll have your fill. From a wall that features the pre-packaged Stack ‘M containers filled with M&M’s ($14.95 each and 2 for 1) to a fill-it-yourself wall that highlights giant tubes filled with every M&M flavor you can think of. Dark chocolate mint? Yep, it’s there. Coffee nut? Yep, that one, too.

They even have mixes in coordinated colors such as the purple, pink and aqua Mermaid Mix and the rose, pink, and white Love Mix. Of course, two of those tubes along that magical wall feature the Minnie Mix and Mickey Mix, and all candies along the wall are $15.98 per pound. Guests are able to fill their own containers with the M&M’s of their choice, and each dispenser is sanitized every hour.

Want something all your own? You can design your own M&M’s using a kiosk located in the center of the store. Four designs can be selected per order, including your name or a photo that you can either have taken at the store or upload yourself. And what would an M&M’s Store on Disney property be without the ability to choose Cinderella’s Castle as one of the designs?

Apparel for all ages is available in the store, right down to baby bibs ($7.95) and onesie sets ($22.95).

Stationery items, like the uber-cute notebooks above, are also for sale, as are co-branded kitchenware items. You name it; it’s there. From Christmas tree ornaments to pen and pencil sets to pajamas for the entire family. And it’s all incredibly cute. All. Of. It.

To top it off, the store smells exactly like you’d expect: like delicious milk chocolate. And you can take a selfie with Red and Yellow in front of the store. Just too cute.

Will a stop by the M&M’s Store be on your Disney Springs to-do list?
