Review! This Turkey Cupcake is a Little Late to the Thanksgiving Party in Disney World

It’s a VERY busy day in Disney World today as the holiday weekend continues and EPCOT’s Festival of the holidays begins!

2020 Taste of EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

But, while we’re up to our eyeballs in holly and jolly over in EPCOT, we’re taking a break from the festival to head over to one of our favorite spots at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

Since we’ll all be eating Thanksgiving leftovers for a few days, it’s still fitting to see a few Thanksgiving treats pop up around the Disney property. And, Captain Cook’s is currently featuring a sweet Thanksgiving Cupcake for just a little past turkey day. (Just look at that turkey’s adorable face!)

Thanksgiving Cupcake

The chocolate cupcake is piled high with buttercream frosting (just like we like it) so guests can get a great frosting to cake ration with every bite. While turkey and stuffing go hand-in-hand, the inside of the Thanksgiving Cupcake actually has a chocolate mousse filling with marshmallows and chocolate chips.

And, if that sounds like one VERY rich dessert to you, we can confirm that it definitely was on the denser side. While mousse can have an airy or fluffy texture, the chocolate mousse inside this cupcake was a lot thicker than other kinds. Plus, the marshmallows and chocolate chips made for some very stuffed bites! If you LOVE treating yourself to something sweet whenever you’re in Disney World, then you might want to stop by and getting this limited-time cupcake for only $5.99!

Looks-wise, this cutie reminded us an awful lot of the turkey cupcake we had at Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT last Thanksgiving! Check him out below!

We don’t expect Mr. Turkey here to be around TOO much longer, so if you’re interested, we suggest you hurry! We already know we’re going to be stuffed by the end of the day with all the food we’re trying today, so you can follow along with us during our snack and drink crawl in Disney World!

Take a look at the food and drinks we’ve spotted at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays today!
