Our tour of the Disney World Resort hotel holiday decorations continues! Our next destination? Why, it’s Disney’s Riviera Resort!

“Welcome Home” to Disney’s Riviera Resort!

This Disney Vacation Club Resort, which is decked out and sparkling with silver and gold, is just waiting to say, “Welcome Home” for the HOLIDAYS in Walt Disney World!

The staircase that leads to the lobby sets the tone of glistening ornaments and white lights adding glimmer to the greenery.

Baubles continue the color scheme, which also includes hints of pale, wintery blue.

The shining focal point for holiday decorations in the lobby is, of course, the Christmas Tree! You’ll find it set out to the right (coming up from the stairs), just in front of La Boutique which resides next to Le Petit Café — one of our favorite treat spots.

Let’s take a closer look at that truly unique tree topper, which provides an interesting contrast to the geometric designs in the same area.

You’ll find that same pattern echoed in more ornamentation on the branches.

Large wreaths are spotted throughout the lobby and extend to La Boutique (the merchandise shop) and beyond.

And while the general décor vibe is stately and elegant, you’ll also find touches of whimsy as you take in the details.

Keep your eyes peeled as you stroll the Resort, since holiday decorations can pop up in unexpected places, like this Christmas tree just downstairs from the lobby with something of a winter wonderland feel!
