REVIEW! We Dipped Into THREE Fall Beignet Sauces in Downtown Disney!

When it comes to must-have Disneyland snacks, their beignets are definitely toward the top of the list! And if you’re looking for top-notch Disneyland beignets, you have to stop by Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express in Downtown Disney!

Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express

We heard that Jazz Kitchen Express was serving up some seasonal dipping sauces to accompany their iconic beignets, so we hurried on over to Downtown Disney to try them for ourselves!

We found not one, not two, but THREE seasonal dipping sauces you can order to sink your fresh beignets in! Now, we fully endorse eating any amount of Jazz Kitchen Express’ beignets sans sauce…but if you feel so inclined, you can totally level up your beignet game by trying these sauces out!

In addition to their classic (and to-die-for) chocolate dipping sauce, you can sample Praline-Maple Anglaise, Caramel Apple, and BOO-Berry. So, naturally, we got all three of them.

Seasonal Dipping Sauces: Praline-Maple Anglaise, Caramel Apple, and BOO-Berry

First up was the Praline-Maple Anglaise. This was definitely the “lighter” of the three sauces, as a crème anglaise typically is (you can see in the photo it’s not as thick as the other two sauces are). Still, it was packed with flavor and was a yummy addition to our beignets!

Next up was the Caramel Apple! This dipping sauce was DEFINITELY more on the “apple” side of the flavor spectrum than the “caramel” side, and we actually would have preferred it to be the other way around! Nothing beats caramel, and we found the apple flavor to get a little in the way of that! If you’re an apple lover, however, this sauce will be right up your alley.

Finally, there was BOO-Berry, and BOY was this sauce packed with berry flavors! Much like the Caramel Apple, if you’re into berry jams, this is the sauce for you. If it’s not your cup of tea, however, we recommend you stick to the more mild Anglaise sauce or the classic chocolate sauce.

Each sauce costs an additional $1.49 a piece, and we think there’s a sauce for everyone at Jazz Kitchen Express! Try them for yourselves before they’re gone!
