The Halloween Character Cavalcades Have Arrived in Disney’s Magic Kingdom (With a Few Extra Spooky Guests!)

Magic Kingdom has received an ooky-spooky makeover today!

Magic Kingdom Halloween

It’s the most frightful time of the year and Magic Kingdom has risen to the occasion with all sorts of celebrations! Of course, those iconic Mickey pumpkins are back on Main Street but that’s not all of the Halloween fun. We’re taking a look at this year’s Halloween entertainment!

Mickey and Friends

Walking in we got to wave at some of our favorite Disney characters wearing some ADORABLE Halloween costumes.

Mickey and Friends

Is there a better way to be welcomed into the Magic Kingdom? Probs not.

Mickey is sporting a spooky vampire costume, Minnie looks like a sweet fairy princess, and Donald is looking quite dashing in his superhero costume!

Mickey and Friends

Oh, and Pluto is dressed as a silly lion! SO cute!

Mickey and Friends

Daisy is wearing a very fashionable witch outfit. And, get this, Mickey and Friends are accompanied by Cast Members in costume from the Boo to You Parade that usually runs during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! That’s Sugar Rush Racer Candlehead who usually accompanies the Vanellope float!

Mickey and Friends

Some are looking quite spooky in their frightful or pirate-y costumes, while others have looks inspired by treats with the Sugar Rush costumes!

Mickey and Friends

Is that a gravedigger we see? Typically these dancing fellows are one of our favorite parts of the Halloween parade so we’re pumped to see them represented at the entrance. We also noted that this is the first time we’ve seen an African American Taffyta Muttonfudge, and we must say she’s looking sweet as can be!!

Pooh and Friends

The next Halloween entertainment we saw was the Pooh and Friends Halloween Cavalcade that runs down Main Street.

All of our sweet Hundred Acre Wood pals are dressed for the occasion with costumes of their own!

Piglet is wearing his butterfly wings? They were handmade by Christopher Robin himself! So cute!

Tigger would fit right into Adventureland in his fun pirate costume. As for Winnie the Pooh, what better costume than a bee? Bears and bees both love hunny! Although, at first glance, we thought that our stuffed-with-fluff friend was going as his best friend Tigger (which might have been even cuter).

Pooh and Friends Halloween Cavalcade

But the award for best costume in this cavalcade DEFINITELY goes to Eeyore! This guy is bringing us Sad Clown vibes and we LOVE him for it.

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade

We’re not going to lie, we FREAKED out when we saw the SURPRISE Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade start to run down the street.

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade

This Tim Burton-y float is so spooky and SO perfect for the season.

Of course, Jack the Pumpkin King is there to spread some Halloween spirit, even talking to guests as he passes!

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade

Sally is seriously bringing the Halloween looks. Such an icon!

And of course, Oogie Boogie is making an appearance too. Don’t get too frightened, but if you do we won’t blame you!

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade

We’re still waiting to spot Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade and the Disney Villains Cavalcade. We’ll be updating this post as we run into more entertainment today, so stay tuned to see ALL of the Halloween fun in Magic Kingdom!
