On our visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we were greeted with something new before we even officially entered the park!

Sure, we found new Star Wars tees and an adorable Minnie Mouse phone case in Hollywood Studios today. But let’s REWIND to something super interesting that we experienced before we passed through the park gates!
That’s right, there’s a new security screening process in town! We first encountered this new procedure on reopening day at Animal Kingdom.

The updated bag check process has guests keep all items INSIDE their bags and carry them through the detectors. If a bag triggers the sensor, it may then be searched by security.

And the security screening at Hollywood Studios has now been updated to match the new process we experienced at Animal Kingdom!

We found the new screening to be pretty easy and it was definitely faster than before. After making our way through the entrance, we were in for a beautiful day in Hollywood Studios!
