When You Gotta Go, You Gotta Go! Check Out The BEST Disney World Bathrooms!

Yes, you absolutely read that title right! We’re talking about bathrooms. Restrooms. Loos. Potties.

Restrooms

Although you might encounter some lines every so often (it is Disney, after all), there are still spots around the parks that are both quiet AND wonderfully Imagineered! We feel it’s our duty to get down and dirty and share the secrets of the BEST bathrooms in Disney World.

We’re here to tell you some of the restrooms you’ll want to write down in your plans since they are convenient, quiet, and themed with some extra Disney magic! So, let’s get restroom-hopping (is that a thing now??).

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Restrooms

Whether you’re staying at the resort or you’re leaving Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has some wonderful bathrooms in its lobbies. They’re VERY clean (and totally fancy), and you’ll feel pretty classy visiting these restrooms. There are pristine white walls and granite countertops featured, including a giant mirror in the corner to fix your outfit or hair so you’re not in the way of other people.

Plus, if you’re hopping on the Monorail and realize you REALLY need to go (subtweet directing at your kiddos), it’s a great place to stop before heading back to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Although it’s a few extra stops along the way, the Monorail connects directly to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for easy access.

After you’ve gone into the restroom, you can also take the resort monorail back to the Transportation and Ticket Center to go to Epcot or Magic Kingdom. Or, you can hop on a bus to another park!

Tangled Toilets

If you thought the lantern scene was beautiful in Tangled (We cry every time), just WAIT until you see the Tangled Toilets in the Magic Kingdom! If you head towards the Northwest corner of Fantasyland past Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world,” you can’t miss the gorgeous Tangled restrooms.

Tangled Restrooms

All around the courtyard, you can find different references to the movie with the lanterns that light up at night, hidden Pascals in the greenery, Maximus’s hooves in the pavement, and the wanted posters (they just can’t get Flynn’s nose right, can they?). Just beyond the restrooms, you can also find Rapunzel’s tower with water bubbling all around it. However, Rapunzel won’t let down her hair, even if you call to her.

Tangled Lanterns

The entire outside of the restroom is hand-painted with tons of Rapunzel’s artwork, but the inside spares no details either. Rapunzel has used her artistic talents to cover the ceilings, walls, and the rest of the restrooms in works of art. There are even a few hidden things if you pay close attention! The men’s restroom features frying pans hanging on the walls, while the women’s restroom has Rapunzel’s paint brushes and palettes on a shelf.

Right outside, you’ll also find USB ports in the tree stumps to charge your phones or devices as you wait for your party members.

While the Tangled restrooms are a quick spot to use in Fantasyland before heading under the bridge into Liberty Square (and Haunted Mansion JUST around the corner!), they’re also an awesome photo location to just hang out (and could be one of the Disney World’s famous selfie walls).

NEW Epcot Restrooms

These restrooms are a LOT newer (like within the past year) and situated right in between the World Showcase and Future World. Many guests in the past have complained that there weren’t nearly enough restrooms in the World Showcase area, so it’s a great central location for everyone.

Plus, they’re pretty big so you won’t have to wait in too hefty of a line (usually). There are even water fountains and water bottle refilling stations right outside the restrooms so you can hydrate on the go! Buuut, if you’re feeling in the mood for some coffee, the new Starbucks is next door too!

Water Bottle Station and Water Fountain

So, that means you can drink as many Frappuccinos as you want without worrying about being too far away from a restroom! 😉

American Adventure Restrooms

Okay, Disney fans have been SLEEPING on these restrooms! There are two sets of restrooms in Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion that most people don’t know about.

American Adventure

All the way to the left, you can find some the old restrooms that are pretty hidden away, but then a newer set of restrooms is all the way over to your right if you’re looking directly at the pavilion.

They’re HUGE, usually really clean, and the tile inside is lovely. Overall, they’re an awesome place to stop before heading inside the American Adventure Pavilion to cool off in the air conditioning.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge “Refreshers”

You won’t find any restrooms in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Instead, you’ll find “refreshers,” whose name implies how quickly you can visit and leave to enjoy the rest of the Black Spire Outpost. While they may not be fancy (we’re in the Outer Rim after all), the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restrooms are centrally located throughout the area so you don’t have to go search for one or leave Batuu to find a place to “go.”

Refreshers

There’s a large double-sided sink in the middle of the restroom, so multiple people can wash their hands at once without having to wait super long in line. There are also hand dryers instead of paper towels, so it’s pretty contactless for the most part. Plus, just outside one of the restrooms, you can go to the water fountain and spot the Dionaga pop up to say hello.

Regular water fountains?

It’s worth the wait!

Hollywood Brown Derby Restrooms

Although we’re usually heading to the Hollywood Brown Derby for a Cobb Salad or Grapefruit Cake, there’s also a very nice restroom off to the side of the entrance. It uses a lot of the 1930s theming of the restaurant with the black and white checkered tile on the floors and walls. It’s super clean, so you kind of feel like a Hollywood star when you visit.

You can also listen to the great music they play in the restaurant while you’re in there so it’s quite relaxing. The Hollywood Brown Derby restrooms also don’t get horribly crowded since the only guests using them most of the time are the people dining there. And, maybe the best part of all, you can actually have fun in the restrooms (shocker) looking at all the caricatures!

Victoria and Albert’s Restrooms

If you can think of the fanciest restroom you’ve ever seen, multiply that by three and you’ve got Victoria and Albert’s restrooms! Since the restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is one of the most expensive places to eat in Disney World (it is AAA 5 diamond-rated though), it’s no surprise that the restroom is so fancy.

Main Dining Room at Victoria & Albert’s

Your server will even escort you to the restrooms if you ask where they’re located. Honestly, you’ll just feel like royalty while you wine and dine at Victoria and Albert’s because the restrooms are just that great too. You need a pricey reservation here to experience these potties, but they’re well worth it!

Toy Story Land Restrooms

Toy Story Land happens to have one of the most vibrant and colorful bathrooms in all of Disney World (go figure!). The outside has a super fun theme with building blocks and Scrabble pieces that “construct” the restrooms. There’s even a Cooties game box to the side to signal that you need to wash the “cooties” off when you’re in the restrooms (way too cute).

And, the restrooms on the inside are just as colorful as the outside! It’s like you’ve almost walked into a kaleidoscope with all the primary colors used for the stalls and the black and red tiles (which are a nod to checkers and tinker toys, since the land is based on toys and games).

There are also crayon tiles on the walls to really make you feel like you’re stepping into your childhood.

You’ll definitely get a high score on Toy Story Mania if you use these ride hacks!

Norway’s Frozen Restrooms

Most people don’t realize that Epcot’s Norway Pavilion does indeed have a restroom. Buuut, it’s at the very back so it’s not super visible unless you’re on the hunt for it. If you walk past the Anna and Elsa’s Royal Sommerhus meet-and-greet and the Wandering Reindeer gift shop, you’ll find the Frozen restrooms!

Royal Sommerhus

They’re honestly so beautifully themed, you forget they’re restrooms for a second. They fit right into the Arendelle aesthetic with Elsa’s signature blue color and Kristoff’s icy sleighs as the doors. The tile is made to look like wood, so you feel super cozy and warm like you’re back at home in Norway.

The outside even has the characters on the men and women’s signs dressed in authentic Norwegian outfits to boost that extra bit of authenticity.

The Frozen restrooms are in a great location too, since they’re around the corner from Frozen Ever After and the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe bakery.

Honorable Mention: Cinderella Castle Suite Restroom

The restroom to top all other restrooms — the Cinderella Castle Suite restroom blows these others out of the water since you’re literally in a castle. It has everything a Disney Princess could dream of, like marble, granite, curved arches, curtains, stained glass, and SO much more.

The restroom also has arguably the most gorgeous bathtub in the world with mosaics of the castle and surrounding nature with a STARRY NIGHT above your head. Pinch us, we must be dreaming!! And, at the opposite end of the restroom, there’s also a sit-down vanity area to get yourself ready for a ball (or day in the parks).

Really, the Cinderella Castle Suite’s restroom is the ultimate Disney fan’s dream… if you’re lucky enough to experience it, that is!

These are the COOLEST hotel rooms around Disney World that you’ll want to stay in!

While there are SO many more awesome restrooms around the parks, we really love visiting the places on this list because of their creativity and convenience! Instead of just a snack crawl, maybe you can try to visit all the awesome restrooms around the parks too the next time you’re in Disney World! ;D
