Disney World has been in the process of reopening for over a month now and we’re getting used to the new normal.

We’ve been adjusting to the new health measures like face masks and temperature checks, and it seems Disney has done some adjusting of its own. Though we’ve already had to get our temperatures checked in Disney Springs and at the theme parks, Disney World just updated its temperature screening mandate to apply to table-service restaurants in the resort hotels.
Today, we noticed an update to the Disney World website that notes that “guests dining in table-service restaurants at Disney Resort hotels will undergo a temperature screening prior to entering the location.”

In line with the Disney World temperature screening policy, those with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be directed to a rescreening. If it is determined that a guest does have a temperature over 100.4, their party will not be granted entry.

The Temperature Screenings information section on the Disney World website has been updated to reflect this information as well. Now, those places where a temperature check is required include the theme parks, Disney Springs, and table-service restaurants at the Disney World resort hotels.
