We’ve been keeping a close eye on delays to Mulan‘s release in theaters and the reopening of the AMC location in Disney Springs. AMC theaters were expected to begin reopening on July 30th, but that date has been delayed once again.
According to the Orlando Sentinal, along with the most recent delay of Warner Bros’ Tenet, AMC theaters will now begin to reopen in mid to late August. According to AMC, the new opening window reflects the current release dates for anticipated blockbusters like Tenet and Mulan.

Mulan’s current release date is August 21st. We’ve seen several delays in the new film and theater reopenings so far, so there’s no guarantee that this will be the last one.
