Florida Governor Extends State of Emergency 60 Days

On Tuesday afternoon, Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, extended the state of emergency for another 60-days due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

There were 7,300 confirmed new COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday, bringing Florida’s total to nearly 214,000.

According to the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the self-quarantining requirements for those traveling to Florida from the New York Tri-State area (NY, NJ, and CT) has also been extended by 60-days until September 5, 2020.
