And over the last few weeks, the two organizations have been working out all the details as they move towards a July 31st resumption date including where players should be staying while on property.

But the NBA and Disney aren’t only folks who’ve needed to agree on terms for the restart to happen. The players have also needed to finalize and agree on terms in order to participate. Now, according to NBA insider Adrain Wojnarowski, the National Basketball Players Association and the NBA have reached an agreement.

According to ClutchPoints, one of the terms that was reworked involves using replacement players. The newly revised rule states any players who tests positive must be replaced no later than seven days after the player who tested positive resumes training.

The NBA and players have also agreed on an enhanced insurance plan for the teams that will take part in the restart. Players will receive 7 million dollars in compensation if they contract the virus and incur injuries that prevent them from being able to play basketball in the future.
