California Governor Moves State into ‘Full Phase 2’ Reopening for Orange County

Orange County’s request to reopen businesses has just been approved by California Governor Gavin Newsom. This is part of phase two of the plan to ease restrictions that were put into place due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Effective immediately, in-restaurant dining and shopping centers may be patronized by the public as long as employees and customers adhere to physical distancing and other specified health guidelines.

Orange County’s health officer has issued a new order along with additional recommendations to help slow the spread of COVID-19, including people wearing face coverings when out in public.

There has been no official announcement from the Disneyland Resort on whether this new development will bring dining and retail locations at Downtown Disney closer to reopening.
