Previously, it was said that this location would close in spring of 2025, but now we have more details to share.
Sources close to Jellyrolls have revealed that its final day of operation will be Saturday, April 19th. This isn’t the end of Jellyrolls, it’s just the final night to experience this location on Disney’s BoardWalk. The bar previously said they were “making a move.”
Jellyrolls
Disney has not released a statement about the move since it was announced. It’s important to note that Jellyrolls is a third-party spot, so it’s not run by Disney or Cast Members directly, which could be the reason for that.
Jellyrolls
The previous announcement on February 1st was on Instagram and read, “After nearly thirty years on Disney’s Boardwalk, Jellyrolls is making a move! Come celebrate with us into the spring season and keep your eyes on our social media for exciting new updates!”
This isn’t your typical Disney World bar. It’s known as a raucous bar on Disney’s BoardWalk that hosts non-stop dueling pianos and a drink special each night (the “Jellyroll of the Day”). Talented performers are entertaining each night and play anything and everything upon request. The two baby grand pianos are a fixture of the bar.
Piano battle at Jellyrolls
As always, hours and dates are subject to change, however, Jellyrolls is open from 7 PM to 1:45 AM each night until then for anyone 21 years of age and over. Entertainment begins at 8 PM and goes all the way until closing time. Don’t forget your $22 admission fee! Cast Members can pay $11 every evening and get complimentary admission on Sundays with a valid Walt Disney World Cast ID. DVC Members receive a discount on admission every evening, and Annual Passholders receive a discount on admission Monday–Thursday evenings.
Who’s ready for some entertainment?
While you’re there, be sure to check out their glow drinks and other specialty cocktails. You’ll also find beer, wine, and seltzers if that’s more your thing. Be sure to arrive early if you want to find a seat.
Crowd at Jellyrolls
If you’ve never been but have a Disney World trip before April 19th, we highly recommend stopping by. But don’t just take it from us — Esquirenamed Jellyrolls one of the best bars in America in 2023. It has become an icon on the BoardWalk over its 30-year run.

Nestled along the shores of Crescent Lake at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort stands as a testament to the grandeur of New England’s iconic seaside retreats of the late 19th century. With its elegant pale blue and white façade, striped awnings, and pristine gardens, this Deluxe Resort captures the essence of a bygone era while offering modern luxury and convenience to Disney World guests. Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort located in the Epcot resort area.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort Summary
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is a deluxe New England-style resort located in the Epcot Resort Area of Walt Disney World, featuring a distinctive pale blue and white façade with elegant striped awnings.
The resort’s standout feature is Stormalong Bay, a 3-acre water complex with a sand-bottom pool, 230-foot waterslide, lazy river, and multiple pools, exclusively shared with Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Located within walking distance to both Epcot (5-10 minutes) and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (20 minutes), the resort offers exceptional park access along with boat transportation and bus service to other Disney destinations.
Accommodations include 576 rooms and suites in the main resort plus additional Disney Vacation Club villas, all decorated in maritime-inspired themes with modern amenities.
Dining options range from the popular Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, known for its Kitchen Sink sundae, to the character breakfast and seafood dinner buffet at Cape May Café.
The resort’s location on Crescent Lake, combined with its theming, dining options, and proximity to parks, makes it one of Walt Disney World’s most sought-after accommodations for both couples and families.
Disney’s Beach Club Main Lobby
Stepping into the Beach Club Resort’s main lobby is like being transported to a refined seaside manor of the 1870s. The spacious entrance hall features soaring ceilings adorned with elegant chandeliers that cast a warm glow over the maritime-inspired décor. The lobby’s color palette draws from the coastal theme, with soft blues, creamy whites, and warm woods creating an atmosphere that’s both sophisticated and welcoming.
At the center of the lobby, a magnificent floral arrangement sits atop a round table, frequently updated to reflect the seasons. The check-in area is designed to resemble the front desk of a historic seaside hotel, complete with brass accents and period-appropriate details. Comfortable seating areas feature plush furniture upholstered in nautical stripes and florals, providing the perfect spot to relax or plan the day’s adventures.
One of the lobby’s most charming features is the collection of maritime artifacts and artwork that adorns the walls. These pieces tell the story of New England’s rich coastal heritage, from vintage photographs of seaside resorts to carefully curated nautical instruments. The attention to detail extends to the cast members, whose crisp uniforms echo those worn by staff at prestigious beach clubs of the Victorian era.
Disney’s Beach Club Accommodations
The Beach Club Resort features 576 guest rooms and suites in the main building, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the casual elegance of New England coastal living while providing modern amenities and comfort. The resort’s accommodations are decorated in soft, coastal-inspired colors with subtle Disney touches that blend seamlessly with the maritime theme.
Main Resort Rooms
Standard rooms at the Beach Club measure a generous 381 square feet and can accommodate up to five guests with two queen beds and a day bed, or a king bed for couples. Each room features a spacious entry area with beautiful maritime-inspired artwork and a divided bathroom layout that allows multiple guests to prepare for the day simultaneously. The main bathroom area includes a shower-tub combination and toilet, while a separate vanity area with two sinks provides additional space for morning and evening routines.
Room views at the Beach Club significantly influence both price and experience. Standard views typically overlook rooftops or parking areas but offer the most economical option. Garden views provide pleasant vistas of the resort’s meticulously maintained landscapes, while woods views overlook the natural areas surrounding the property. Water view rooms, among the most coveted, offer stunning views of Crescent Lake or the resort’s impressive Stormalong Bay pool complex.
Club Level Accommodations
The Stone Harbor Club Level, located on the fifth floor of the resort, offers an elevated experience with access to the concierge lounge and premium services. These rooms feature upgraded amenities and furnishings, with many offering panoramic views of the resort grounds or Crescent Lake. The concierge lounge provides complimentary refreshments throughout the day, including continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers, and desserts. Club level guests also receive personalized concierge service, turndown service, and access to exclusive vacation planning assistance.
Suites
For guests requiring more space, the Beach Club offers several suite configurations. Junior suites provide a spacious 468 square feet with a larger living area, while one-bedroom suites offer 633 square feet with a separate bedroom and living room. The prestigious two-bedroom suites measure an impressive 1,095 square feet and include a master bedroom, a second bedroom, and a spacious living area perfect for families or extended stays. Each suite features upgraded furnishings, multiple televisions, and additional amenities such as wet bars and dining areas.
Beach Club Villas
Adjacent to the main resort, the Beach Club Villas offer home-like accommodations ideal for extended stays or larger groups. This Disney Vacation Club property features three room types that provide additional space and home-style amenities:
The Deluxe Studios (356 square feet) sleep up to five guests and include a kitchenette with a microwave, small refrigerator, and wet bar. These studios feature either one queen bed and a double-size sleeper sofa, plus a single pull-down bed, or one queen bed and one double-size pull-down bed.
One-Bedroom Villas (726 square feet) sleep up to four guests and offer a master bedroom with a king bed, a separate living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen. These villas also include a washer and dryer, making them perfect for longer stays.
Two-Bedroom Villas (1,083 square feet) accommodate up to eight guests and combine a One-Bedroom Villa with an adjoining Deluxe Studio. These spacious villas feature two full bathrooms, a complete kitchen, a washer and dryer, and multiple TVs.
The villas share all amenities with the main resort while offering additional conveniences like full kitchens or kitchenettes, making them especially attractive for families wanting to prepare some meals in-room or those planning extended Walt Disney World vacations.
Room Amenities
Every accommodation at both the main resort and villas includes thoughtfully chosen amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Standard in-room features include:
All rooms feature plush Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top beds dressed in premium linens with triple sheeting. The nautical-themed décor includes custom furniture, maritime artwork, and sophisticated textiles that create a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. Modern amenities include Smart TVs with access to Disney streaming content, individual climate control, and electronic safes sized to accommodate laptops and tablets.
The bathroom areas feature granite countertops, lighted makeup mirrors, and premium H2O+ bath products. A dedicated vanity area provides the perfect space for getting ready, while the separate shower/tub and toilet area ensures privacy and convenience for multiple guests.
Additional amenities include mini-refrigerators perfect for storing snacks and drinks, Keurig coffee makers with complimentary coffee and tea, and a selection of glassware and cutlery. Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the resort keeps guests connected, while USB charging ports and multiple electrical outlets accommodate today’s tech-savvy travelers.
Disney’s Beach Club Stormalong Bay
No discussion of the Beach Club Resort would be complete without highlighting Stormalong Bay, widely considered the best pool complex at any Disney World hotel. This three-acre water recreation area is essentially a mini water park exclusive to guests of the Beach Club and its sister property, the Yacht Club Resort. The centerpiece of this aquatic paradise is its unique sand-bottom pool, which creates a genuine beach experience right in the heart of Walt Disney World.
A massive shipwreck serves as both a visual focal point and the housing for an exhilarating 230-foot-long water slide, providing hours of entertainment for guests of all ages. The complex also features a lazy river with a gentle current perfect for relaxing tube rides, while younger visitors particularly enjoy the sand bar area, where shallow waters meet real sand for authentic beach play. Multiple hot tubs are strategically placed throughout the complex, offering perfect relaxation spots after a day at the parks.
Beyond the main features, Stormalong Bay is divided into three distinct pool areas, each offering different depths and experiences to suit various preferences and swimming abilities. For guests seeking additional luxury, private cabanas are available for daily rental, providing a premium experience with dedicated service and amenities. Advance reservations for these cabanas are strongly recommended, especially during peak seasons.
In addition to Stormalong Bay, the resort offers two quieter pool options for guests seeking a more serene swimming experience. The Tidal Pool provides a peaceful retreat near the villas, while the Dunes Cove Pool offers another tranquil option for swimmers looking to avoid the excitement of the main pool complex.
Disney’s Beach Club Dining
The Beach Club Resort’s dining options range from casual quick-service locations to elegant fine dining experiences, each offering its own unique atmosphere and menu selections.
Among the most beloved dining spots is the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, a charming restaurant that transports guests to a 1950s seaside soda fountain. Here, visitors can indulge in classic American fare including hand-dipped milkshakes, custom-made ice cream creations, and hearty burgers. The restaurant’s claim to fame is the legendary Kitchen Sink sundae, an enormous ice cream concoction designed for sharing and celebration.
For those seeking an upscale dining experience, the nearby Yachtsman Steakhouse, located at the adjacent Yacht Club Resort, offers an exceptional fine dining experience. This signature restaurant is renowned for its premium cuts of beef, fresh seafood selections, and extensive wine list. The restaurant’s elegant atmosphere, complete with warm woods and nautical touches, creates the perfect setting for a special occasion or romantic evening.
Cape May Café offers two distinct dining experiences throughout the day. Mornings begin with a character breakfast featuring Minnie Mouse and her friends in beach attire, while evenings transform the space into a seafood-and-more dinner buffet featuring New England-inspired cuisine. Cape May Cafe’s bright, airy atmosphere and coastal décor complement both dining experiences perfectly.
For casual poolside dining, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill serves up satisfying lunch options and refreshing beverages right at Stormalong Bay. The full bar service and convenient location make it a popular spot for guests looking to enjoy a meal or drink without leaving the pool area. Meanwhile, the Beach Club Marketplace serves as the resort’s quick-service dining location, offering everything from hot breakfast options to sandwiches and salads, along with grab-and-go items and basic grocery essentials.
Ice cream enthusiasts who don’t require a full restaurant experience can visit the Beaches & Cream To-Go Window, which offers hand-scooped ice cream, specialty sundaes, and beverages without the need for a reservation.
Disney’s Beach Club Recreation
The Beach Club Resort offers a rich array of recreational activities beyond its impressive pool complex. The resort’s beachfront location provides the perfect setting for various outdoor activities. A sand volleyball court hosts both casual games and organized tournaments, while regular beach games and activities throughout the day keep guests of all ages entertained. As evening falls, the beach transforms into an outdoor cinema for Movies Under the Stars, where families can enjoy Disney films under the Florida sky.
Health-conscious guests will appreciate the Ship Shape Health Club, a full-service fitness center equipped with modern cardiovascular equipment and free weights. The facility also offers massage services by appointment, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day of park exploration or workout session.
The resort’s marina serves as a hub for water-based activities, offering various watercraft rentals for guests who wish to explore Crescent Lake. Guided bass fishing excursions provide a unique opportunity to experience Florida’s famous fishing, while Surrey bike rentals offer a fun way for families to explore the resort area together.
Younger guests have plenty of options for entertainment as well. While the Sandcastle Club supervised children’s activity center is temporarily unavailable, kids can enjoy the latest video games and classic favorites in the arcade or burn off energy at the outdoor playground designed with safety in mind.
Disney’s Beach Club Shopping
Shopping at the Beach Club Resort caters to various needs through two main retail locations. The Beach Club Marketplace serves as the resort’s primary shopping destination, offering a wide selection of Disney merchandise alongside resort-specific items that make perfect souvenirs. The shop also stocks essential sundries, beach and swimming supplies, and a variety of snacks and beverages for guest convenience.
For those seeking more upscale offerings, Fittings & Fairings provides a boutique shopping experience featuring designer goods, high-end Beach Club branded merchandise, and limited edition items. The shop’s carefully curated selection reflects the resort’s refined coastal theme, offering everything from casual beachwear to elegant accessories.
Disney’s Beach Club Transportation
The Beach Club Resort enjoys one of the most enviable locations in all of Walt Disney World including theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs. Situated in the Epcot Resort Area, this premium property provides guests with multiple transportation options to reach every Disney destination. The resort’s location particularly shines in its proximity to two theme parks, with some of the most convenient park access in all of Walt Disney World.
Epcot
The resort’s crown jewel in terms of location is its proximity to Epcot’s International Gateway entrance. This lesser-known back entrance to the park is just a leisurely 5 minute walking distance from the resort along a picturesque promenade. This walking path is often faster than any other transportation option and allows guests to easily return to the resort for afternoon breaks or dining. Alternatively, guests can take a Friendship Boat from the resort’s dock to the same entrance, though walking is typically quicker.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios is accessible via multiple transportation options. Guests can enjoy a scenic 20-minute walk along the waterfront pathway that connects Crescent Lake to the park. Friendship Boats also provide direct service to Hollywood Studios, with the journey taking approximately 20-25 minutes including stops at other Epcot area resorts. Additionally, guests can walk to the nearby International Gateway station (about 5 minutes) to access the Disney Skyliner gondola system, which provides a quick and scenic 8-10 minute ride to Hollywood Studios.
Magic Kingdom
Complimentary Disney bus service connects the Beach Club to Magic Kingdom. Buses typically begin running 45 minutes before the park opens and continue until 2 hours after it closes. The journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses pick up and drop off guests at the resort’s main bus stop, located just outside the main lobby. During peak times, Magic Kingdom buses usually run every 20 minutes.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is accessible via dedicated Disney bus service. The ride typically takes 25-30 minutes, and buses run regularly throughout the day. Like Magic Kingdom service, buses begin operating 45 minutes before park opening and continue until 2 hours after closing. During slower periods, you may want to allow extra time as buses might run less frequently.
Disney Springs
Bus service to Disney Springs begins at 9:00 AM daily and runs until 2:00 AM or 1 hour after Disney Springs closes, whichever is earlier. The journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes. In the evenings, when Disney Springs tends to be busiest, bus frequency typically increases to accommodate higher guest demand. After 4:00 PM, guests can also take a bus to Disney Springs from any theme park.
Alternative Transportation Options
For guests who prefer not to rely solely on Disney transportation, the resort offers both valet and self-parking options for those with personal vehicles. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, including Disney’s own Minnie Van service (powered by Lyft), are also readily available and can provide more direct transportation to any Disney destination or off-property location.
Transportation Tips
The resort’s bus stop features digital boards displaying real-time bus arrival information
During peak times, particularly during park opening and closing, allow extra time for transportation
Consider using the My Disney Experience app to check current wait times for buses
For early morning reservations or events, consider using ride-share services as backup options
Remember that walking paths to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are well-lit and secure at night
During inclement weather, boat service may be suspended, but bus service will continue to operate
The Skyliner typically begins operation at 7:30 AM but may open earlier during early park admission days
Special Events and Seasonal Celebrations
Throughout the year, the Beach Club Resort transforms to celebrate various holidays and special occasions. During the Christmas season, the lobby becomes home to a spectacular gingerbread carousel display, handcrafted by the resort’s talented pastry team. Easter brings special brunches and egg hunts, while Independence Day features patriotic décor and premium fireworks viewing areas. Halloween sees the resort adorned with festive decorations and themed activities for guests to enjoy.
The resort also excels at hosting special occasions. Its picturesque setting and versatile event spaces make it a popular choice for weddings, with services available to accommodate everything from intimate ceremonies to grand receptions. The events team can arrange private functions for groups of various sizes, and the resort offers special services for birthday celebrations and anniversaries, including custom cake ordering and romantic package additions.
Making the Most of Your Stay
Timing your visit to the Beach Club Resort can significantly impact your experience. The period from September through November often offers an ideal combination of lower crowds and pleasant weather. January and February typically feature lower rates and mild temperatures, while May provides beautiful weather before the summer crowds arrive. December, though busier, offers a magical holiday atmosphere that many find worth the premium rates and larger crowds.
For guests looking to maximize value, several strategies can help manage costs. Booking during off-peak seasons can provide significant savings, and standard hotel rooms offer the same excellent amenities as those with premium views at a lower price point. The Disney Dining Plan, when available, can provide value for families planning to enjoy multiple resort meals. Taking full advantage of included resort amenities and activities can also help maximize the value of your stay.
The resort contains several hidden gems worth discovering. Early risers can enjoy peaceful morning walks to Epcot, offering stunning sunrise views over Crescent Lake. Evening entertainment often includes live music in common areas, and photographers will find numerous scenic locations throughout the property perfect for capturing vacation memories.
Planning Your Visit
Successful stays at the Beach Club Resort often begin with careful planning. Reservations should be made well in advance, especially for peak seasons, and guests might consider booking through Disney Vacation Club for potential savings. Special offers and promotions are periodically available, and travel insurance might be worth considering for significant investments.
Transportation planning can enhance the resort experience. While bus transportation to parks typically requires 20-30 minutes, walking to Epcot is often faster than waiting for boats. Park hopper tickets can be particularly valuable given the resort’s location, allowing guests to easily split their day between nearby parks. For off-property excursions, rideshare services provide convenient transportation options.
Dining reservations play a crucial role in the resort experience. Signature dining venues should be booked 60 days in advance, and breakfast reservations can provide advantageous timing for park openings. Quick-service locations offer mobile ordering for added convenience, while room service provides flexible in-room dining options.
Why Disney’s Beach Club Resort

The resort’s attention to detail, from its architectural elements to its thoughtful amenities, creates an immersive experience that transports guests to a bygone era of seaside luxury. While the daily rates may be higher than moderate or value resorts, the Beach Club’s numerous amenities and convenient location often justify the premium price point for many guests.
