The 9th episode of High Potential is called “The RAMs,” a title that doesn’t have much to do with the case of the week, but that hold significant meaning to Morgan Gillory. Otherwise, this episode follows Morgan as she helps solve the murder of a beloved L.A. sportscaster. And this week’s episode comes with a very […]

A new popcorn bucket is now available for Disney Pal-Palooza: Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World happening at the Tokyo Disney Resort.
Disney Pal-Palooza Popcorn Bucket – ¥2,800
The bucket is designed like a popcorn wagon and comprised of many sweet treats in true Vanellope von Schweetz fashion.
The side of the wagon reads “Hot Fresh Popcorn” and showcases the faces of Minnie and Mickey. Minnie wears a pink polka-dot bow and Mickey has a blue hat. The wagon wheels resemble donuts, with the front wheel being pink icing and pink and white sprinkles while the back wheel is blue icing with chocolate-colored drizzle and multicolored sprinkles.
A sign resembling a wafer cookie on the side of the bucket has the inscription “Tokyo Disney Resort.” with a castle and a smoking volcano resembling Mount Prometheus to represent the two parks.
The poles of the wagon are candy canes and the front displays the word “Popcorn” in blue and yellow font. Chocolate “drips” from the roof of the bucket.
The back of the wagon reads “Poppin’ Fun” in the same blue and yellow font as on the front.
The roof is a chocolate bar with a wafer on top which opens to hold the popcorn. White icing with multi-colored sprinkles lines the sides of the chocolate wagon roof.
The strap attached to the bucket features a pattern of various candies and cookies. The opposite side is pink and white stripes with the phrase “Enjoy a sugary wonderland, where sweet dreams come true!”
According to the official Tokyo Disney Resort website, the bucket is available for purchase on January 14 and 15, 2025. Guests will be able to make a purchase only once at the Popcorn Wagon in front of Sweetheart Cafe at Tokyo Disneyland or the Popcorn Wagon in front of Sea Turtle Souvenirs at Tokyo DisneySea.
There is a purchase limit of one popcorn bucket per park ticket.

This evening saw the debut of the season (or is it series?) finale of Lucasfilm’s live-action series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew on Disney+, entitled “The Real Good Guys.” Below are my brief recap and thoughts on this climactic installment. “The Real Good Guys” begins with a fake-out anti-payoff to the cliffhanger of last week’s episode, with […]
As we kick off 2025 looking ahead, I wanted to reinvigorate my love of the movies by looking at Disney’s upcoming slate. However, I also need to be a critical realist. When I boot up my Letterboxd app, I become the snarkiest, Roger-Ebert idolizing nobody this side of the Mississippi. So, as I take a […]

A new addition to the official Tokyo Disneyland Resort webpage has announced a new digital comic called “it’s a small world with Groot: Take Off” available for guests to read on the Tokyo Disneyland app.
The translated title of the comic is “it’s a small world with Groot: Take Off.” The comic has only been announced in a digital version so far, and it will be available to users of the Tokyo Disneyland mobile app. A preview image of the comic shows Groot holding a suitcase as he prepares to travel the world.
The description for the comic says that any guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland during the overlay period can enjoy the comic using the app. The rest of the translated webpage includes instructions for using the app and accessing the new comic. The app must have location services enabled and be opened while inside the actual park for the comic to become available. As a result, valid theme park admission is required to read the comic.
“it’s a small world with Groot” is a limited-time attraction overlay running at Tokyo Disneyland from January 15 through June 30. For the overlay, several of the classic “it’s a small world” dolls will be dressed in superhero costumes matching the ones seen on favorite Marcel characters. Disney released a preview of a doll dressed like Thor. Several small Groot dolls have also been newly-created for the attraction.
Are you excited to see Groot and his friends added to “it’s a small world” in Tokyo Disneyland? Let us know in the comments.
