It’s going to be a big year for Disney, and one Disney World hotel is going to reap the rewards.

Disney World is going to undergo some serious changes over the next several years, and thanks to D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, we may learn more SOON! This August, Destination D23 is BACK at Disney World and one hotel in particular is going to be PACKED because of it.
Destination D23 is a Disney fan convention held from August 29th to the 31st, 2025 where Disney executives, celebrities, and fans from around the world will join together to celebrate all things Disney. D23 members will be among the first to hear announcements and sneak peeks from all different facets of the company with experiences such as behind-the-scenes stories, special guests, and more.

Notably, for the first time ever, the event will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for 2025. Coronado Springs has the capacity as opposed to the Contemporary — the previous location — so that makes sense.

We fully expect this switch to make Coronado Springs and the Gran Destino Tower an incredibly popular stay in August.

If you’re planning on attending and are panicking about lodging right now…DON’T! As of this writing, there’s still a lot of time to book and Coronado Springs is massive, with availability still showing.
