REVIEW: There’s a Reason We Keep Coming Back to this Iconic Disney World Snack

We’ve been doing this whole Disney Food Blog thing for a while now, which means we’ve got our absolute FAVORITE eats around the parks and more.

Trolley Car Cafe

And, if you’ve been a DFB reader for any length of time, you might know just how fond we are of Disney’s whoopie pies — more specifically, the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie you can get at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We couldn’t help ourselves when we were in the park the other day, so we grabbed one for old-time’s sake!

You know her, you love her — the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie! This DFB favorite treat is available at Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for $5.79, and we were craving one the other day — so we thought we’d do an updated snack review!

Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

This one is still the same great carrot cake that we know and love! It is FILLED with a cream cheese filling, but it’s not overly sweet like a typical Disney icing would be, and it doesn’t stick to the roof of your mouth, either. It’s perfectly light but also has just enough of that cream cheese taste to it to make it a different flavor than just standard vanilla.

This thing is a beast

The whoopie pie cake itself — the carrot cake — is delicious. It’s moist, but it’s also kept pretty cold in the case and you do get those little bitty chunks of carrot bites within the cake every once in a while. It just gives you a little extra burst of flavor. It’s a delicious snack and for under 6 bucks, it’s really hard to beat.

LOOK AT IT

In the meantime, we’ll be on the hunt for all sorts of Disney snack news from the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more!
