The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has officially started!
The festival will run from January 17th, to February 24th, 2025. There is so much to see and do at this short festival, including so many new offerings, like new Food Studios and menu items, new merchandise, and a new exhibit at CommuniCore Hall! CommuniCore Hall is EPCOT’s new festival space, which opened last June and is now home to a Disney on Broadway exhibit! Let’s take a look inside!
Now, usually, to experience the magic of Disney on Broadway, you would need an additional ticket, but all you need is your park ticket to experience this exhibit along with nightly Disney on Broadway performances at the America Gardens Theatre.
The new exhibit in CommuniCore Hall is called Once Upon a Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway and features costumes and props from Disney musicals and a behind-the-scenes look at how animated films were adapted for Broadway. And, y’all, it’s INCREDIBLE!

You can’t miss it — you’ll find this banner prominently displayed at the entrance to CommuniCore Hall!
Once inside, you’ll find that the space has been transformed. For the first time, it looks like Disney is making good use of this space with tons of displays featuring sets, costumes, props, and more elements from Disney’s Broadway plays. Here’s a look at what the costume studio for Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway looks like!
There’s also a display of the mask and puppet workshop from The Lion King on Broadway, which is just incredible to see. These puppets are out of this world and so cool!
Here’s a close-up look at the Pumbaa puppet from the play. Don’t worry, it doesn’t actually smell like Pumbaa.
In addition to props, there are a ton of costumes on display from plays like Mary Poppins, Aladdin, The Lion King, Frozen, and the new Hercules play coming soon.
Aside from the amazing Broadway exhibit, you can also find some Festival of the Arts merchandise inside CommuniCore Hall, too! We’ll be sharing a full look at all the merch soon, so stay tuned!
We think this is an awesome new addition to the Festival of the Arts and are glad to see that Disney is doing more with the CommuniCore Hall space, as it has been a bit underwhelming.
We will be trying and checking out everything at the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so make sure to stay tuned and continue to follow along with DFB!
